I cleaned the greasy muck from the contacts inside the switch which was a free fix and has been trouble free for the last 6 years. Might be time to clean it again as a preventative measure

First, thank you for making this video, it helped me alot!! So I had the same problem; 1/I took the TCM box out and cleaned it. 2/ replaced the break switch. 3/found a loose red wire by the break switch area and fixed it. Now my car is working so I don't what did it out of those 3 things, but I definitely only spend $17 for the break switch from Amazon.

Did you have a problem with the airbag light on? I’ve checked the wires in case of a loose Or cable but no succes maybe someone got an idea btw range rover sport 2008

Yes that is amazing, unbelieveable. Error on the switch causing wrong errors for TCM, and then fake faulty comes. Must try. 5-10 pounds only. I solved my problems in few seconds. You have chance to check if it is or not: Try that; unscrew switch and keep it connected and then push several times to button while engine running. if the errors come U are lucky. Change the switch and thats all as mine.

Disregard my previous message, it is not solved with that. But U may check caliper components especially pins+dust recover part.

It shows too many faults on the dash, you need to clear those out also.

Thats because your back up battery need to be replaced

Next time you decide to post a repair/ replacement video , use a external light ! Also do concise replacement (total) example show under the dash , placement!

@@canuckautoworks2809 I changes the compressor because it went into limp mode and the body sank to the bumper stops...the new relay wont work so I put a jumper wire in and got the compressor to run...but it wont lift and the switch inside wont luminate either...was just told I need a software update so the ecu recognizes the new compressor...I'm seriously ready to snap and burn it...its an older 1...2006...but I just paid 6gs for it and I'm not happy....it was all I could afford and now apparently a money pit

@@lifebeginsat190 the air system can be problematic, thats why most convert to spring suspension.. I have the SDD software to calibrate and run diagnostics which has been very helpful.

@@canuckautoworks2809 where do you get the software?...figured I'd be trailering it to Calgary to a range rover dealer I'm getting codes saying 3 of the 4 ride height sensors are not communicating ..its such a complicated system...cant understand why so much could go wrong at once
