Hi thanks for the video. Quick q if you don’t mind… when the fault came up was the car sitting lower than normal? And when you did the reset did the compressor kick in and pump the car back up to normal height? Been going through these issues replaced the computer and the compressor and still have this fault and the car is sitting too low… any advice appreciated 😊👍🏼

Yes I did, when the fault came up the car lowered to the bump stops. This solved it.

Did you ever get this resolved? I came outside to my LR3 yesterday morning to it sitting on bump stops, compressor wont turn on when I start the vehicle, just shows the "Systems Fault special programs off" Along with the red light of the car and aarows.

Did your Discovery also have a F for restricted gears ? I have a Range Rover sport 2,7 v6 TD from 2007 with the same faults

Hi. I'm using a GAP IID tool. Very useful for a land rover.

How did you know to reset the steering ?

I did a little research on the Disco3 forum. The steering angle position is needed in order for the traction control and suspension system to operate, and for some reason it must have lost its understanding of where the steering wheel was pointing. I reckon maybe the battery went low, I hadn't used the car for a few weeks, or maybe a bug crawled on the sensor - I'll never know! Anyway, now that the car knows which way the steering is pointing, all is well again.
