My Dad set one up in his yard. It's pretty cool. One time when I was visiting, I was in the dark back yard waiting on my dog to do its business and the mower scared the crap out of me. It's really quiet.

Do you need the wire if your yard is completely fenced in with no obstacles? Won’t it just bump the fence, turn, and keep going?

How tall grass of a grass could’ve cut? My property is on a bit of a graduating decline it has a plateau where the houses and then there is a little bit of a drop and then it graduates downward. Not sure if this might work but just wondering

It can prob cut 1-2” thick grass but I ran into issue with uneven lawn and as soon as it dipped down it would get stuck. It also really needs to use GPS the guide wire was a pain

Get a mower you mow the yard in 10 minutes 👍🏻 and teach your kids to do some work n spend some time doing some work with you 👍🏻

I'm curious what happens when it leaves the boundary? Does it know it left the boundary or will it just keep driving forever and you'll end up losing it?

It seemed to turn back or shut off after it went out of boundary twice but it followed the wire pretty good for the first pass to learn the foundry. My issue was that my turns in the wire were too sharp and that will make the device go out of bounds --

How does this deal with dog/cat poop? Have you encountered any issues with obstacles?

It would go right through it unless maybe it was Elephant poop. Only issues I had was uneven ground and very thick grass and some dense weed areas in my backyard and it would get stuck... that was kinda annoying so I recommend doing a pass with a regular lawn mower first on a very low setting and then set this up to start mowing the area a day or two later.

How is it on small hills? 🤔

Seemed to work fine on small inclines as long as the ground was flat. If there were dips in the grass it would get stuck.

You should buy a quality robot instead of that stuff. Husqvarna Automower are the best ones. They even have 4wd models. :)

Very poor model. It has a lot of flaws. I don't recommend it.
