The LawnMaster L10 is a robotic mower with a 18cm cutting deck and is designed for lawns up to 400m². It has 5 height adjustments from 20mm to 60mm, has 3 good quality pivoting razor blades for a precise and clean cut and allows you to mow for 4, 6, 8 and 10 hours each day. The LawnMaster L10 robotic mower comes supplied with a charging station, 150m of boundary wire and 250 pegs.
The LawnMaster L10 is a brilliantly simple and compact robotic lawn mower that is excellent if you’re looking for something uncomplicated and easy to install and configue. It doesn’t require a huge technical knowledge to get started and yet you’ll still be left with a clean and neat finish for your lawn.
But simplicity isn’t the only thing that the LawnMaster L10 has going for it. It has some exciting features that make using a robot lawn mower for the first time a very pleasant experience. As you can see from my video review of this mower, it does a pretty impressive job. But let’s take a look in greater detail in this LawnMaster L10 review.
Key Features:
20m to 60mm cutting heights
Mulching
Rain sensor
Mows for up to ten hours a day
Ability to mow on alternate days
Security PIN for extra security
3 pivot blades
Suitable for lawns up to 400 square metres
Bump and lift safety features
Suitable for slopes up to 35%
2 year guarantee
WHAT I LIKE
Super simple to set up.
Precise blades for a neat finish
Choice of mowing times
Good mobility with maximum incline of 35% (19.3°)
Great value for money
Spare parts & support readily available in the UK
2 year guarantee
WHAT I DON'T LIKE
Day schedules are not possible
Random path mowers will take time to reach all parts of the lawn.
No access to battery for replacement if needed

Excellent video thank you. How does it deal with leaves/twigs
@EasyLawnMowing
@EasyLawnMowing 2 жыл бұрын
Hi John, if you have a few leaves scattered across the lawn then that is completely fine, however if you have lots of leaves, particularly if they are damp, these will need to be cleared up. Small twigs are again fine, however I have found leaving twigs on the lawn does blunt the blade that bit quicker.

great video - thanks Mark! The LawnMaster L10 looks like a tidy small lawn starter robot mower. I have a question please, is it necessary to position the charging station on the lawn, or can it be positioned in a little 'parking bay' next to the lawn?
@EasyLawnMowing
@EasyLawnMowing Жыл бұрын
I’m not sure that will work as with this robot mower station the wire needs to enter into the front and exit out the rear of the station. So no I don’t think you will be able to create a parking bay.

Thanks Mark for a very useful review. A couple of questions you may be able to help with: do you know of a supplier for mains to charging station leads of longer than 10m? Do you know why there is a need for 1m of space behind the charging station - would it work with less? Many thanks John
@EasyLawnMowing
@EasyLawnMowing Жыл бұрын
Hi, no sorry I'm not sure about the longer lead. I believe the connector is unique to the LawnMaster. Have you tried to ask Cleva? To be honest I can't think why you need the 1m behind the station, it may be simply to allow enough space for the mower to cut the lawn and turn to get out of the space. I can't see why this can't be smaller but will just leave some uncut lawn. Perhaps ask Cleva about this as well. If you don't get anywhere, I have a contact at Cleva that I can ask. Thanks. Mark

Thanks Mark, Cleva sales have now confirmed no option for a longer cable. I will see how they respond to the query about the 1m distance. John

I filled in the more help needed and no response has bee forthcoming. I have a nice black and orange ornament, to look at whilst I an cutting the grass.

Daft question....do you leave these running all year or pack them away over winter? Does this cause the battery to die if so? Does it need to be charged over winter to keep the battery alive like conditioning a car battery? Nice to see what it does at the edges. I have been holding off buying one as I didn't realise they do actually go over the boundary wire to the edge of the lawn. Thank you :)

Hi When preparing your robot lawn mower for winter storage, around October here in the UK, it’s important to ensure that it is properly cleaned and maintained before being put away for the off-season. Start by removing any grass clippings, dirt, or debris from the machine’s body and blades. It’s also a good practice to check and clean the wheels and charging contacts. Once the mower is clean, fully charge its battery and then disconnect it to prevent any potential for overcharging. If possible, store the battery separately in a cool, dry place to prolong its lifespan. The mower itself should be stored in a dry, sheltered environment to protect it from the elements and extreme temperatures. Additionally, consult the user manual for any specific storage instructions provided by the manufacturer, as proper maintenance can help ensure your robotic lawn mower will be ready for use when the grass begins to grow again in the spring. Thanks Mark

Good video but how does it compare to the worx that you ran in the garden?
@EasyLawnMowing
@EasyLawnMowing Жыл бұрын
Hi Matt, the WORX is a more sophisticated robotic mower, as it has a phone app that allows you to schedule and adjust many settings and features. The LawnMaster L10 is a more simple robotic mower, with limited customisation available. You can also extend your WORX robotic mower with optional extras such as the ultrasonic sensors for obstacle avoidance etc. This LawnMaster is more for those who want a simple but effective robotic mower without the hassle of apps and firmware updates etc. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks Mark

Hi, no garage is required for this robotic mower. You will just need to bring it in over the winter period, say from late September to March, in the UK. Thanks

Dod you make a video 3 months later to give an update please? If not, how did it do? I am torn between worx 141e, bosch s+ and L12. I like the app and additional features of forst 2 models but there are roo manu complaints too. I am wondering if a cheaper and a simpler L12 is better suited to my 400sqm lawn as a firdt time robot lawnmower
@EasyLawnMowing
@EasyLawnMowing 10 ай бұрын
Hi, Yes its going well and I think that is down to the simplicity of the L10. It just means you don't have as many configuration options and remote control as you would with the Worx. If you just want the lawn cut and looking great, with little fuss, then yes the L12 will make a great purchase.

How do you go on when it comes to scarifying?
@EasyLawnMowing
@EasyLawnMowing 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael, yes you will need to take the wire up before scarifying or avoid this area all together. Having said that I have just been out to have a look at my WORX robot mower which has been installed for 3 months. I had trouble in locating the perimeter wire as it has buried itself by about 1 cm under the surface, but still too risky to scarify over.
@SDP1999
@SDP1999 Ай бұрын
What is the point if you still need a mower for 30 cm round the edge? Do none of these mow to the edge? Why can't you put the wire at the flower bed border?
@EasyLawnMowing
@EasyLawnMowing 26 күн бұрын
Robotic mowers are designed to mow right up to the edge of the lawn, but they may leave a small strip of grass uncut around the perimeter. This can be easily trimmed with a string trimmer or edger. The boundary wire for the robotic mower should be placed a few inches inside the flower bed border to prevent the mower from getting stuck or damaging the plants.

Changing the Security Code The default security code is 2323. To change the security code: 1. Unlock the mower 2. Press the HOME button and the START button together for around 3 seconds until you hear a beep sound and all time setting indicators flash one time. 3. Input the new security code and press the OK button. You will hear two beeps. The new code is set successfully. Thanks Mark Haley

Hi Mark - I have been going around in circles a bit with Customer Services on the question of how to install the perimeter wire in a separate, closed area of lawn in the front garden. The back garden is where the charging station is installed. The mower can be carried to the front garden, but the question I have is whether the front lawn perimeter wire needs to be connected to the back lawn perimeter wire, or can the front lawn be an independent loop not connected to the back lawn in any way?

@TheGuptfauj hi. Yes the Flymo will give more functionality in terms of scheduling etc. if you don’t need this then I would personally go for the LawnMaster. Not sure if you want to hold on for a while as LawnMaster have a new robotic mower coming out soon. It’s in testing at the moment. It will have more functionality than the L10 and from first impression will out perform the Flymo in terms of functions and price.
@TheGuptfauj
@TheGuptfauj 2 ай бұрын
@@EasyLawnMowing that might be worth the wait, I guess it's down to price and how long it will take to come out. The only issue I have with the lawnmaster is their nobretuena policy (unopened and unused returns only). That means if the unit doesn't work for my lawn I can't return it! Where as the flymo does allow for returns. I do want to get something setup soon so I'm now in a bit of a dilemma!!
