If you want technology only at such a high minimum viable product threshold, we would all still be waiting for the first iPhone, which by your standards, might be something like the iPhone 30. 😁 That kind of standard would also make consumers angry, since such a principle would require warranty servicing for simple problems, raising the price even more… …that, or insurance rates and deductibles. And then you could be without your gadgets for days, or weeks at a time. Is that the world you want to live in? Not to mention the fact such a principle maligns the consumer’s “right to repair.”
@RJeezy557 ай бұрын
@@HSTRTGMS Companies build trust and reputation over time by consistently delivering products that meet or exceed customer expectations. Intentionally releasing flawed products at a high price can quickly erode this trust and damage the company's reputation. In the age of social media and online reviews, negative feedback spreads rapidly, potentially harming future sales and brand loyalty. Consumer satisfaction is paramount for long-term success. While some customers might initially purchase expensive products based on brand name or marketing hype, if those products turn out to be flawed or unreliable, it leads to disappointment and dissatisfaction. This can result in returns, exchanges, or even legal action, all of which incur costs for the company and inconvenience for the consumer. The essence of a good business transaction lies in providing value to the customer. A high price tag for a flawed product undermines this fundamental principle. Consumers expect their investment to be justified by the quality, performance, and durability of the product. When flaws emerge, it diminishes the perceived value and can lead to feelings of buyer's remorse. Successful companies aim to cultivate long-term relationships with their customers. This requires not only delivering quality products but also providing excellent customer service and support. When flaws are discovered, how a company handles the situation can greatly impact customer loyalty. In a competitive market, consumers have choices. If one company consistently offers flawed products at high prices, consumers are likely to seek alternatives from competitors who provide better value for their money. This dynamic encourages companies to prioritize quality and innovation to stay ahead of the competition and retain their customer base. Building a successful business requires a commitment to delivering value, earning trust, and prioritizing customer satisfaction over immediate gains. Your Apple analogy is severely flawed as Apple has always released quality products in lieu of being the first to market with a new flawed product. ✌️

I own an automower 430x. I've had it three years now and it's amazing. My lawn, 1/2 acre, looks freshly mowed all the time and all i do is water and trim the edges. Basically, it gives me like 2 hours of freed up time each week. My lawn also is much, much healthier than before and looks like a golf course.

The guide and the boundary is same tech, just applied differently in the software, this was a Husqvarna patent that just recently lapsed so other manufacturers can now use it. Anyway, the signal from the boundary and the guide is not enough to tell the mower where it is, it just tells the mower what side of the wire it is (inside or outside). There are boundary machines that does the pattern cutting put they are to sensitive for disruptions (Bosch Indigoo) and mostli for minimal lawns. Systematic cutting needs minimum two systems to work properly, kinematics and RTK or Kinematics and Camera/radar navigation. You basically need backups for the backup systems or the mower will frequently get lost.

The random pattern is much better than back and forth. Remember, these things run every day. If they followed the same pattern, you'd end up with grooves in your lawn

The reply " finely clips the grass" is correct. I have my gardena 250 for a year now and it works grate. Because it finely clips the tips you dont even see it on the grass BUT here is the secrete to theses auto movers , Grow your lawn well then cut it with normal mover to the height you want, once you lawn how you want it and cut straight and neat THEN ONLY do you let the auto mover start cutting " it does a magnificent job by keeping the grass neatly cut" This demo in this video does not do justice to these auto movers as they not designed to cut a wild lawn like that.

The Worx mower has a "comb" which is supposed to protect the blade from rocks. It's also quite front heavy and it puts most of its weight on that single wheel in the front. You are missing a crucial point about the required guide wire that's in the gardena and Husqvarna's favor. You can set up zones based on their distance from the charging station to the guidewire, even through small passages. I have a small passage behind my house and two big grass fields either side, the guide wire and the possibility to program the mower to spend 50% of the mowing time either side of my house have been crucial to keep everything mowed evenly. Also, your problem about patches not being mowed are a non problem if you set up the schedule correctly. If you are having issues about patches not being mowed, then you need to let your mower mow longer. The app of the mowers will help you set up a proper schedule. This is the advantage of robotic mowers, you don't have to mow, let them do it.

ts a bad review as he uses the auto mover on unprepared lawn.You wont see those patterns that bad. Its because your lawn needs to be grown and cut to desired height with normal mover then only use auto mover " it works great" The auto mover maintains that beautiful neat lawn. This guy uses it on an over grown wild lawn which the auto mover is not designed for. I have my gardenia for a year now and works great BUT remember get your lawn to how you want with a neat smart length and the auto mover will maintain it.

Hi, I would like to invite you to review our smart sprinkler controller, are you interested? Once connected to your home wifi, it can automatically adjust the frequency and amount of watering according to the weather and seasonal changes.

I won't buy one of these robots until technology does away with need for the boundary wire and the cut doesn't look like hair cut with blunt scissors.
@TheLawnReview5 ай бұрын
Hey! They definitely have that capability but the three I was reviewing are more of the “economical” versions that cost less than $1k.

I'm not a fan of the Gardena, but I also feel that you didn't give a real attempt to evaluate it for the simple fact the you said you didn't know what certain buttons are. That's what the owner's manual is for. So how on earth are you evaluating anything with that train of thought? I know many people don't read the manual, but if you're going to review something fairly, you would be expected to actually review starting with knowing how to use it.

It would not work at all. I had to call the manufacturer.

Worx Landroid, NO THANK YOIU. These Machines are crap. We have bought of them, both are now broken after less then 2 years. Service ...ha ha. If you deal with them it takes ages, so we gave up, organized parts from Germany and fixed them ourself. Both main rotor engine broken (bearings) and on one the STOP bottom get stucked. We would never buy them again.

WORX is a very bad brand, 1000 problems (I called the after-sales service several times without being able to get an answer regarding the robot's problems, or warranty coverage). A Chinese scam!

This is ridiculous. It moves as slow as a turtle walking. Your not showing grass that's high like 4 or 5 inches high. I can push my lawn mower on my huge front and back yard in 1hour but this machine it would take 3 or 4 hours to cut. I'll spend my money on a riding lawn mower besides this sorry turtle machine
@TheLawnReview Жыл бұрын
Most of these can't cut 4-5 inches high. They are slow, but they are basically mowing 24/7

the idea with the boundary cable is just awful... why the hell not let set the territory via the app...

Yeah I’m not a fan of it either but the app ones are so expensive
