It's so interesting to watch this moment, because up until this point we didn't know who Klaus was and you could tell that the creators didn't either. Because Klaus in Rick's body was this mythical creature everyone feared, far darker and scarier than the Klaus interpreted by Joseph Morgan. Joseph Morgan gave him a playful side and made him someone you hated and liked at the same time. One of the best tv villains for sure.

King Rhobar your right damon has the brains that trumps any vampire i've seen and the second is Marcellus. In vampire standards he is a really young vampire to have such wit. The thing that gets him in trouble is his impulsive and sometimes arrogant behavior. With that behavior it stops him from reaching his potential with his wit which would help him physically and mentally.

King Rhobar the originals usually rely on their might then their wit. Klaus only uses his brain when it comes to battle and he is the best tactisoner while Elijah is his rival/equal. Elijah uses his brains in and out of conbat and originally he was arrogent but now his mind is clouded. The originals never try to betterment themsevles at all because originally being the most powerful beings in the world (physically speaking). They see any one as inferior due to their status but as for marcel if he kept his intelligent mind set when he was introduced then he would be better than damon but know that he has become an upgraded original hes gotten more arrogant and aggressive. You can see it in season 4 he has become like klaus (the apple dosen't fall far from the tree) his change in behavior is similer to lucien when he got the upgrade. Lucien had traits all vampires should have had but when he got the upgrade he became arrogant, passive aggressive, playful, and developed predatory characteristics (which most vampires have but he had it in his personality and behavior more then instinct) by wanting to hunt the mikealsons down over time slowly which is what got him killed.

The introduction of The Originals (Elijah, Klaus, Rebekah) was the best thing to happen to TVD. It took everything in me to get past "everyone and their mother, falling head over heals trying to help a 16 year old girl out". Every single storyline Elena had something to do with, didn't matter if it made sense or not, she was going to be incorporated. I was about to give up until Elijah came on the scene, then I thought O.K. now we're getting somewhere. Then Klaus shows up and I was a gonner. I absolutely feel in love with the Mikaelson's and once T.O. came out. I dropped TVD like a bad habit and made my way over to the grown folks side of things.

Very few big bads I like (majority are written so corny) and he was amazing. My favorite was Rebekah.. I loved that she was one of the most powerful beings on the planet and yet was treated by her brothers (mainly Klaus) as this delicate flower they didn't want harmed.. She was such a great character and had amazing character growth as the show moved along.. and into The Originals

He's funny sometimes, but his motovation to do things make no sense. He wanted to make stefans life miserable because he was scared and didn't wnat to lost his older brother so he made him turn. But Damon made his own choices in having little regard for human life after that. He kills people when Elena turns him down or breaks up with him. And even killed Jeremy once without knowing he had the ring on. And in season 5 he killed Elena's friend Becaue she broke up with him even though she made him promise not to hurt him. In season 7 after Stefan saved him from the mark of the hunter by stepping in front of him, and Stefan basically begged him and said if he cared for him then he would stay instead of going to sleep until Elena wakes up, Damon just walks away from him.

Klaus is the best character in tvd, TO and legacies universe. It broke my heart when klaus sacrificed himself to save his daughter. And i literally cried in every episode of season5 of TO i think the reason was because of his love for his daughter. And i even cried when he was mentioned in legacies because you could literally see the hurt hope has gonr through because she was never sure if klaus didnt regret his choice.
