🐳 🔥Whales, bush fires and the most incredible landscape ever 😍 Welcome to the Dampier Peninsula! Join us as we leave Broome and head north. Our destination? Pender Bay Escape, a gorgeous camp that's notoriously hard to secure a spot in. The website always claims it's booked out, but thankfully we managed to secure seven nights.
A bush fire burns, covering the area in a smoky haze which looks pretty amazing at sunset and even more incredible from our campsite as we watch it burn into the night from our campsite. The Hollier family (‪@Campedia‬), who join us a few days later, have a wild experience driving through the fire that had crossed our path. 'It almost melted my arm off' (quote from Donna 😅)
We takes some time to explore Middle Lagoon where we catch up with some fellow travelers and go for a (pretty funny) swim, and Smithy's, two fantastic campgrounds not far from Pender Bay.
This is all part of our journey from Brisbane through Western Australia via New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia then back down to Victoria and back up to QLD!

Hi from New Zealand. I watched some of your shows and they are great. I have also watched show from your good friends Simon and Liz, also Paul and Katie. Leah and TJ, Jackson and Kyla. We are considering buying a twin axel caravan for about $40000 for weekend and holiday use, In NZ have a lot of English caravans they are at a good price value for money. In Australia do you have English caravans over there and are they any good. Keep the happy travels going. Thanks Jono P

We do have English vans over here. They’re probably ok for on road use, but we really don’t have any experience with them. Your best bet is to join owners groups of people who already own them 😁

Been going to Middle Lagoon for years as we live in Cable Beach. Worst thing they ever did was seal the highway as every man and their dog is up there now. The great days are well over unfortunately 😊

Greetings from Nevada USA... My wife and i enjoy viewing your adventures. One friendly suggestion?? In your video edits, could you do your best to keep the inserted music at the same or LOWER!!!!!!!! volume of the voice-track? PLEASE, PLEASE..... It is so annoying to have to manually lower or mute the volume during the significantly louder music! And who knows what we might be missing in the voice-track if we've muted during the annoyingly louder music!

The transitions on audio were the only bummer for my musician-sensitive ears (it's been a hobby for nearly 45 years), and wishing the music would be more of a background thought... then back to the informative voice-chat :)
