When Arin interrupts Dan's intro for the hairdresser, I am both of these people.

I genuinely can’t imagine a neurotypical person. Like I cannot imagine a person not acting like this and it’s hurting my brain that there are people out there who don’t act like this. Like wtf do neurotypical people talk about?? If they get from point A to B so quickly, wouldn’t the conversation be over in 3 minutes?? WTF DOES A NEUROTYPICAL PERSON ACT LIKE BRO I CANNOT FATHOM THAT

So there’s the episode where they open up toys from different decades, and every time there’s a year where a Rush album came out Dan would mention it, and he’d know the album, bc Rush is also one of his special interests.

I can’t recall which Power Hour this is in (probably an early one) but there’s a clip where Dan spins around in his chair and then says he has to spin back around in the opposite way to assuage his OCD brain, which makes me feel v seen as an OCD person!

@@parkermae that’s something I wasn’t aware of but I think it’s more likely that I have ARFID as I struggle with textures and trying new food. Plus I have almost all the diagnoses correlated with it. I’ll bring both up when I next meet with my therapist. Thanks for the info!

A couple clips that stand out to me as extremely neurodivergent just off the top of my head -I’m On Observation Duty 2: Dan thinks a painting of two people kissing is a painting of dinosaur teeth -cotton candy power hour: honestly Arin’s ADHD was off the shits in that one but esp at the beginning when he’s like “has it been five minutes yet?” and it’s been like 30 seconds -the pirate power hour has a lot of good ones (“clappy boy, clappy boy”) but my fave is Arin’s excited stimming when they see the trampoline -Dan giving into the impulsive thought and sticking his hand directly in the vat of Mac and cheese at the end of that power hour -the second soda pong power hour: Arin says something with “daddy” in it, Dan goes “what?”, Arin immediately replies “I’m a dainty little boy” (I believe that this is also the one that starts off with “happy day, every day is happy day”) And you could probably make an entire one of these videos just from the zoo episode …I think about these things a normal amount
