Hey Dan! I love your videos. I've never really had anything to add to the conversation, so I've never commented before, but I did want to offer some insight on the cat in the bag. I work in the veterinary medicine field and I instantly recognized the type of bag that the cat is in as a "body bag" that we use to put the remains of animals in. We bag the remains and then the crematorium that we work with comes and picks up the bagged remains. They're very thick, no ties or ziplocks or anything like that. I do think that the lady's idea of a pet crematorium that's not being run correctly isn't as crazy as it at first seems. Either that, or another idea I had is that sometimes at work, pet owners are not able to afford to have their animal cremated, in which case we offer them the option to just take their pet's remains home, ostensibly so they can bury them. Unfortunately, I've often wondered with some owners (just by the way they act) if they're going to bury their pet or if they're just trying to avoid paying for a cremation and are, in fact, just going to dump the remains somewhere. I don't think you can get those types of animal body bags anywhere other than a veterinary hospital or an animal crematorium.

Iam a cat lover, and the cat in the black bag really disturbed me.
@LCx8297 жыл бұрын
I worked emergency and we always tagged the leg of the animal and placed into a bag. Someone didn't want to pay for cremation. My dog cost me $350 so I can see someone not wanting to pay and took there cat home and dumping it either because they were freaked out or just didn't know what else to do. Also if an owner doesn't want a privAte cremation there is mass cremation and they don't pay. I feel this owner had good intentions but probably changed there mind.

I'd just like to tell you that your content is truly unique, and I have to say I genuinely appreciate your careful attention to detail, excellent camerawork, and thoughtful editing. I've got to say, I absolutely love that you fully understand the nuances behind the ''vaporwave'' aesthetic, and your incorporating it into your videos. I don't know if you personally do it because you enjoy it yourself, or to give your stuff a certain flair, but you put out some excellent stuff. I really see you being approached and picked up by some network, because your videos are gripping, and cry for a larger following, so get to networking and make it happen! One small thing that I've picked up on lately, I think your chemistry with Rick has slightly soured a bit; I can tell there's a bit of tension that might make things go south if it isn't addressed between you two soon. I could be speaking out of line, and perhaps that's just the kind of friendship you guys have, but I'm only coming from a place that wants to see your stuff flourish. Once again, thank you for all that you do, and don't ever stop crafting!
@stephaniemccoy96027 жыл бұрын
Tension with Rick? If your talking about when Rick kinda got snippy during one of the shootings for Another Dirty room; they were exhausted and considering Rick may have a few health issues that he hinted at once (unless I read that wrong), I would imagine how tired he can get really fast.
@Knifegash7 жыл бұрын
It also happens during some of the behind the scenes videos they make where they're all behind microphones and talking about a shoot they did. You can see Dan get visibly agitated when Rick talks, or sometimes interrupts him. I've seen three videos by my count so far where I can see mounting tensions between the two, to the point I felt I had to bring it up.

Hello Dan, I’ve never commented on a KZbin video before but I decided to jump in to tell you how much I loved your videos! I’ve been following your channel for a couple a years now and always appreciated how dedicated and respectful you were of the places you were visiting. This is so nice for a French person like me who lives far away to be able to explore various American spots such as dead malls, old mansions, parks (and, of course, 5-star hotels) through your videos. Only a few French channels deal with urban exploration and the selection of the places is usually very oriented (old buildings assumed to be haunted), so people do not really take the time to look around (furniture, books, old papers…) and figure out what could be the history of those places.. So thank you for providing such an informative and entertaining content! I just have one little question: do you ever plan to go to neighbouring states in the future? À bientôt!

11:25 that does make sense. I used to work as a vet tech and the bag you found in the video looked like the bags we'd put animals bodies into to send them to cremation. And I've heard of some of the cremation places dumping the bodies instead of cremating them. Also, I've listened to the entire Serial podcast about Adnan. It doesn't really go anywhere interesting (unless you're interested in unusual homicide cases, criminal justice or something else specifically and would want to hear every detail). Whatever conclusion you drew after the first 5 episodes probably won't change by the 12th.
