It's started in my town n I live in a town about 1 1/2 N of Seattle. We had a guy goes into a Lowes last week, grab a cart of expensive power tools and walked out. Security did nothing, they called the cops, cops showed up, saw him loading everything n left. Said unless there was violence we are too short staffed to do anything as our mayor just fired another 20 officers which is basically most of them left. We have basically no cops now. Haven't seen any on the streets for like a yr+.

When this happens to police officers, they should make a note and tell the owners loudly so everyone can hear, that they will no longer respond to calls for assistance from those businesses. And stick by that. I wonder how long that BS would continue. Further, the GOP should state on TV that when they get in, they will press charges against all and anyone they identify for looting or any crime(no matter how minor) and accuse them of insurrection, jail them for an unspecified amount of time and all charges will be applied retrospectively. I think some criminals may think twice.
