I was a Darlington ball boy back in the day he used to chat to me every game and knock the ball about with me, now he’s scoring against psg crazy.

Absolutely love Dan he’s a local hero. I will never forget that PSG game as long as I live. I was on holiday in America and watched the game with friends at a bar in New York. Greatest day of my life

And he pops up with a goal today against his former club (Fulham) in a 3-0 win!

As an NUFC fan I'm biased but I have to say how lovely a bloke Dan Burn seems in the interviews I've seen. Based on his height I thought he might be a bit of a shithouse when he first signed but he's a real gentle giant. This weekend when he scored, his first instinct was to help Bernd Leno up out the net which may have been a small gesture but it says a lot about the guy.

*Foster --- Fraser Forster was a academy goalkeeper for us like! Was relieved Ben Foster didn't turn up to be 3rd keeper. Like the guy, but wrong club:wrong player - Ben Foster turning up as 3rd GK with a go pro in goal and vlogging, having his YT channel. Sigh of relief when heard he didn't sign. Ben Foster's sole objective was and is about brand Ben Foster/Cycling GK - him turning up to Newcastle is not what we needed!

@@snookerstones bit weird a MCFC fan gloating like this given you lot were nobodies a just over a decade ago (doubt you supported them then). We are just beginning the same path you are at the end of given the FFP shitstorm thats coming. Will plenty of UCL wins to come for NUFC.
