Some players come once every generation and they’re never forgotten.DC retired from international rugby in 2015 after the RWC. I’m yet to see a better fly-half in world rugby. His kicking, vision and movement are 2nd to none. Wilkinson was definitely brilliant but even he wasn’t as good as Carter imo.

I think you're drawing a very long bow comparing Sexton to Carter. I'm not saying he's not a good player but Dan Carter is arguably the best fly half the world has ever seen. You just need to look at his stats. Wilkinson was good over a short period of time but dropped out of the mix relatively quickly. I would rate Stephen Larkham over Sexton or Wilkinson any day.

SCW completely fucked up that tour. JW had been injured and barely played all season. The Welsh were the form team that year and he brought far too many Englishmen on tour and the team barely had any time to gel. Carlos and Cooper aren't better than Carter. Its the Sextons, Wilkinsons and Carters that are the great flyhalfs. The reason being that they don't just run into contact with ridiculous sidesteps everytime they get the ball, they instead distribute it to the right players at the right time calling them onto the ball at the right angle. And thats what makes the backlines of the teams they run so great. The All Blacks, best backs in world rugby. Leinster, best backs in europe. Wilko's england '03.
