What always gets lost in these conversations is Daboll’s contributions to the roster construction. They want to throw Schoen under the bus for lousy team building but I guarantee you every one of those moves came with Daboll’s blessing. It has been relentlessly emphasized how these two are in lockstep with each other. Personally I’ve come around (regretfully) to the conclusion that they both need to go but I’d hold Daboll more responsible than Schoen. He’s done a terrible job preparing this team on a weekly basis.

The one constant is Tim McDonnell and other close relatives being in charge across multiple ineffective regimes. They did not yield this type of power during the Ernie Accorsi era. You can’t tell me that hoeing Gettleman was a good decision, and I am still confused as to why they thought Schoen was better than Adam Peters - I think probably because of some flawed rationale around liking Daboll and wanting the Bills magic sauce. When you say Judge is weirdo, you are correct. We don’t get to talk to these people. If I ate dinner with Judge I would know in three minutes he is complete loser and wouldn’t hire him. Yeah, we win a playoff game with Gettleman's roster, which Schoen dismantled and got nothing in return even though he knew he wouldnt resign them. 🤡Instead he replaced them with his bustaroo draft picks. I get your point about not wanting constant turnover, but what has Schoen shown to warrant long-term trust? Poor roster construction, questionable drafting, and letting key players walk without compensation have put us in this position. If we’re drafting a rookie QB, wouldn’t it be better to give them a fresh start with a stable, forward-thinking regime instead of one potentially coaching for their jobs?
