Thank you Dan Hurley for bringing UConn back to greatness! And making us Connecticut residents very arrogant when it comes to Who’s the best College program!

I'm a die-hard Kansas fan, but I could listen to Coach Hurley talk basketball for hours. His passion and energy make him such a fun coach to follow. I hope he's still coaching 20 years from now.

As someone who is currently struggling with severe anxiety, when coach talks about when he had health problems and the fear of dying started to overwhelm him, I can totally relate. It “rocked him to his core” He talks about his fear. Very courageous.

I was a high school coach in Indiana for 7 years, and how he describes himself was spot on to me. However, he has been able to function with his issues...I much prefer the assistant job because I cannot. Really enjoyed the interview and his teams.

While the NBA is something that may or may not happen, I see him as the coach of team USA like Coach K. He would do great in FIBA basketball. UConn plays a very similar style. In CT, Hurley is literally the king of the state.

He's a great coach. But, based on this interview, in my opinion, the best thing he has going for him is his wife.

She’s a saint. She was with him when he was struggling and is definitely not a gold digger. Hurley’s predecessor at UConn dealt with some of that after his championship and he was never the same.

As if that’s a bad thing? Isn’t that the point to find a partner that is your better half? Someone who unconditionally loves you and challenges you to be a better person.

GB's stuff is legend... Danny has suffered the damnation of the Furies, which, like Robert Johnson's crossroads, has made him an unparalleled force. The neck/spine issues that could've crippled him was chilling to hear.

I will never fully understand the American obsession with college sports. So much money involved, it’s staggering. How can some of these programs afford to pay a coach $50 million dollars when students have massive loans to get their degrees? Loans that take years to pay off. Military personnel struggle to make ends meet and you are paying one dude $50 million just to coach kids how to throw a ball through a hoop.

Creating another source of income in these difficult times is the best thing to do. Not only does it guarantee returns, it also helps you plan and save for future express it can be quite difficult to make an investment without sound knowledge or guidance which is why it is adorable to work with an investment advisor

Not going to the Lakers was probably his best career decision. He and LeBron would've butt heads.

Wow fantastic interview, I just subscribed because of this and I had never heard of you before so there's that! Lol Also at about 129min in the vid 2 big bruises form over Dan's right eye and forehead. I looked at time stamps and he didn't have them they started forming around 10 min before just a weird observation.

Will end up an all time great coach. But as a player? Get real with yourself. You are 6'2 and shot under 30% 3pt. Awful efficiency for career. There was no predraft process for you.
@TrippyTexas4 күн бұрын
He also played in a time where the 3pt shot is not what it is today. I agree that he just wasn’t a good player, but pinning it on something that was almost irrelevant back then is dumb
@loganbaltau3864 күн бұрын
@@TrippyTexas it’s not dumb at all. They didn’t shoot volume 3s, but guards were still expected to shoot an efficient percentage. Especially at that size. if you want to act knowledgeable, then refer to his FG% instead of his 3pt%. There was never a time that wasn’t a value
