Who cares about having a professional team? Yes we had the Hartford wailers for a while and then John Roland governor was supposed to bring in the New England patriots mid 90s to Hartford.

Love the Hurley family and followed Pop Hurley for many years before knowing about the sons Danny and Bobby. I am so happy for Danny as his rises to the top of the coaching mountain was not an easy one but right now it so sweet.

Every other coach in basketball should take notes from Dan Hurley. So much movement on offense, unrelenting defense, and all around unselfish hard play. Great coach.
@TheCJRhodes7 ай бұрын
He also scouts and recruits the kind of “superstars” that won’t take offense to not being “superstars” all game for however many years they decide to play for him, and are willing to listen, work hard, and win, not JUST improve their draft spot. Easier said than done, but his staff has gotten real good at it.

Why on earth would anyone think Hurley would consider going to Kentucky? Uconn is at the pinnacle of Mens college basketball. Kentucky would be a major step down.
@jeffwirick60997 ай бұрын
Yeah hes a real gem. The Olympic committee would like to set up interview to discuss his philosophy of coaching: NBA dividend kick backs, personal stock options given to favored teamates, the use of anabolic steroids by the players and coaching staff. Light and fluffy no biggie. Noone is interested in excelling without a big fat juicy payoff. Thats todays standard. By todays standard none of the final four starters OR the coaching staff would qualify for an Olympic interview. But their not interested anyway, no pay off. Thats why I say "nice shot".
