I watched his new limited series "Good Grief" about the death of his partner (fictional), and it reaches you on a human level, not just from an LGBTQ+ perspective. It's about how humanity handles deep, profound grief. I adored "Schitt's Creek" and to follow it up with this was nothing short of extraordinary. The Levy's are an incredibly talented, brilliant family, who has their finger on the pulse of the social issues facing the world. God bless.

Having grown up in an incredibly homophobic, indeed “differntphobic” environment in the 1960 and 70s, and having met many people ostracized for who they were - for their race, gender identity, or disability - I cannot express in mere words how important you have been to society and humanity. I only wish we could somehow eliminate the need for your enlightenment. Thank you, thank you. I’ve never liked a show as much as Schitt’s Creek. I’ve never felt as safe as when I’m in its world. I’ve never known love as free to grow as when I’m watching it. It’s not been an easy few months for any of us, but knowing that it will always be there for us makes everything ok. Thanks to Dan, Eugene and all the cast, crew and writers for creating this perfect gem of a show that has shown us how beautiful the world could be. We will forever be indebted to them for the joy they have given us in 22 minute segments and I wish them nothing but the best of luck with all future endeavours. The decision to make Schitt’s Creek a homophobia and bigotry free zone was a huge paradigm shift. It modelled how beautiful it would be to live in a place where David’s Pansexuality, Patrick being Gay, Ronnie being a Lesbian and Jake being Bi/Poly/Hedonistic are what they are and didn’t need an anxiety ridden episode where it was discussed and then accepted. Dan will never truly understand what he has given us or how much this beautiful creation has meant to us.

I was lucky enough to be background for one of the more famous scenes: Asbestos Fest. Back in April, 2017, I was in Season 4 Ep3 for the end when David and Moira sing their Christmas set. The BG actors got to sit in the “Cafe” in between shooting. At the time, of course, Schitts Creek was just starting to take off. I had the absolute pleasure of sitting with Dan Levy backstage (I had lingered on set, everyone else was in the Cafe already, and Dan walked out with me from the “Town Hall”. He invited me to sit down with him, and we talked for the next twenty minutes till he had to go do the part with the singing with Catherine. He was an absolute delight to talk with. What you see here is who is truly is. Sweet, intelligent, eloquent, he was starting to come to really hear about the show was taking off and was so pleased. I’ll never forget this. And yes, I can see myself in the audience, hahaha!

Love this guy so much! He's just so authentic, which is hard to find in "Hollywood". Just have so much respect for him as an actor and a true loving human.

Thank you Dan. Nothing, no sit-com, will ever compare with this. Nothing. I am so, so proud of you. I agree with Nicholas Janosy, you are most definitely our Canadian treasure and your entire team is beyond amazing. You brought out the best of everyone in the cast as well as the audience with sheer joy, love and humanity of all those who were honoured and privileged to be able to watch this Series.

That was so sweet watching Dan tear up when James read the tweet from his mom saying how proud she was of her son

One of the funniest, well written shows in a long time. Every character uniquely quirky and fun to watch. Every small town and big city should be as accepting as the fictional townies of others differences. Great job! Will totally miss this show!!! Best wishes to the entire talented cast.

I am a 67-year-old retired woman and I just loved this show!!! I was saddened to hear that the six season was the last. I have enjoyed binging seasons one through six about four times or more. Good luck to all the cast.

I loved this Netflix show. I never heard of the Levy's until someone recommend the show. I'm hooked. After I watched the last episode, I was 😥. I felt like they were gone and I miss them. Everyone was great! I can't say enough about the cast.

It’s November 2022 and I still fall asleep EVERY night watching and listening to Schitts Creek on Netflix. It’s my happy place. I like the love and acceptance and seeing a world where all love is presented in a wholesome way. I enjoy the evolution of Alexis the most but all the characters are hilarious and moving and sweet.
