On day 3 of my water fast. I spent a few hours yesterday feeling very unsettled and anxious. I slept well and woke up in prayer. My stiff neck is 10 times more than it was, and my hips are very sore. I hear that it is the body going into detox. Wherever the pain is, is where the toxins are stored in the body. I need to stay focused on Jesus to stay out of the aches and pains in my body. Any tips on avoiding all the discomfort? Headache pretty bad too. I drink more and more water! My Lord is loving me and I pray for release of my flesh. Amen.

lizanne .. i would recommend a few teaspoons of vitamin c it will cause a loosening in the intestines and flush out a lot of toxins ,, I would recommend always doing a flush before a fast .. fasting is an awesome gift and the results are awesome.. 🕊

Also you can fast things like TV and social media. I've done that. Where all I used my phone for was checking the weather calls banking etc and unless it was a sermon or my Bible app I didn't do it. No games no Facebook etc. Great way to cut out all distractions.

Man eat food with the meds and if you have the faith for it and still long to fast in some way, just skip a meal every now and then! There are so many different ways to fast and they don’t all have to be 40 days no food haha! Our Father sees your heart and the purpose of your fast, even if it’s a meal, or a time of day that you would usually have a snack:) just surrender, let’s just say 10:00am (snack time) to Him and just don’t have a snack at that time like you usually do. There is nothing small and insignificant when done out of love and sincerity. He can do more with your skipped Fig Newton bar at 10 o’clock, unto Him, than He can with someone’s 40 days that has gone off track and is impressed with themselves and has not kept their eyes on Him. I used to feel like fasting was like a hunger strike to get God to do something. Like "ok God I'm serious about this..I'm not eating until you do something." So I never did it unless for health reasons. I do it for health still but now I will do it for both.

How many preachers do you listen to that spend countless hours dictating scripture and verse, but yet people walk away unchanged by the Word of God. Reading from scripture in proper ratio to the length of a sermon has to be the most empty way to measure a man's fruits. He does reference scripture all throughout his preaching right and left. Yes he may not read the verses all the way out, but that is because if you notice, he is teaching to an audience that he knows reads the scriptures and recognizes the passages referenced. He also encourages those he teaches to get alone with God and get this Word in you so that you can grow. A false prophet will tell you, listen to what I'm saying and would not risk sending his audience to the very book that can find him out to be a heretic. Please come to the table with more substance before you judge. Are you walking in constant peace that surpasses your own understanding? Are you walking in the Spirit so much so that your desires are blameless before men even in private? Are you walking out your Salvation without stress, anxiety, worry and fear? When you are sick or have something happen to you financially, do you panic and start calling everyone you know to pray because you want God to bail you out, or do you walk in perfect peace and submit yourself to God in that moment and rest in Him, since He already paid a high price for the finished work that gives you your healing and deliverance? Do you know the love of Christ or do you know how to criticize and judge so well from so much knowledge and been so churched, that you can barely see past yourself and struggle to even be able to receive from God? Point is..if you have time to comment then you wasted that time that you could have spent with God. I commented to you to put an end to this and not allow others to be drawn away by disbelief in the Gospel. Dan is not God and he is not perfect, but what he preaches has changed my life. So you can take your comments elsewhere. Thank you
