I miss ESPN of the 90s when sports center ran on a loop from 6 am until noon. And then 6/6:30pm With Kieth Olberman, Dan Patrick, a young Rich Eisen, Linda Cohn, Kenny Mayne, Charley Steiner, Robin Roberts, Stuart Scott. Others shows I miss was Up Close with Roy Firestone, Chris Myers, and Gary Millier which would air just prior to the evening sports center Monday thru Friday. On Sundays mornings miss the sports reporters with Dick Schapp, John Saunders, Mitch Album, Mike Lupica, Bob Ryan. Also miss Sunday NFL countdown with Chris Berman, and Tom Jackson as well as NFL primetime that would air prior to Sunday night football on ESPN. Should have kept MNF on ABC. Memories of the 90s 😢

Look at the box office for Star Wars, Marvel films, Pixar movies and Indiana Jones films for the last few years and compare to prior. Note that Disney has been taking over these companies more and more, especially over the last few years. Key people who used to be around have been removed by Disney. Yes, her defense is poor ....partly because they have worn her out on the offensive end ..... nobody brings this up ....especially the agenda driven ESPN desk

Hmmmm, let me understand something here. There is no way Taurasi could stand up to the pressure you seem to believe that CC is experiencing now correct? And since you don't state why that is the case, you basically assume it a priori. Well then, I have a question for you, why would you want to choose a player that would draw that kind of pressure (CC allegedly) over Taurasi who wouldn't? You're making a case that Taurasi would be more effective than CC because she would be given "space" to create against her opponents.

I'm not expert but the WNBA's version of ''physical basketball'' is , we ignore the rules and our refs don't do their jobs. Its actually inexcusable because its sloppy basketball, they don't play like skilled players.
@michaellacross52663 ай бұрын
The W is becoming more skilled, and that is to say "skilled" as you use the term. The rookies coming out of college are slightly faster, and have a little more shooting range than the pioneers of the league. All of basketball, international, NBA, college, are morphing into starting 5 players that can stretch the defense with their shooting. The W will get there too because they have no choice. If a person can shoot the 3 ball at plus .400, that is equal to a player shooting the ball at .600 at the 2 point range. How many players can say they were a career .600 shooter? Now, how many players are shooting the 3 ball at +.400? That is what changed basketball. Math, and the ability to practice the shots until you're marginally more proficient.

ALL basketball has become unwatchable because of all the 3-pt Bricks! Who wants to watch the constant misses?!? Go back and look at the statistical summaries of the NBA playoffs. In most games, both teams combine to shoot the 3-ball at a 25-30 percent clip, which is PUTRID, while making well over 50 percent of the 2-point shots! It's not basketball anymore, it's a continuous, unguarded 3-point shooting contest, with BRICK AFTER BRICK, the norm. Coaching is abominable, they've allowed the idiotic players of the past decade, and their "Math," to ruin the formerly-great sport of Basketball! 🏀

I get the vibe this channel leans right. Nothing wrong with that I just wish there was a new sports channel that was down the muddle

Even though Oberman suffers from extreme TDS now, him and Dan were the best Sportscenter duo to ever do it.

Well the last part of interview is like 4 years too late…but u do wish ESPN had the same view as they did back then…where it wasn’t about the talent but about the sports they were covering..now it’s all about the woke liberal host’s views…and sprinkled with a little sports..ESpew..🤢stinks to the max ..

Don't you mean the "Kings" ? The Kansas City Kings basketball team at one point moved to Sacramento and became the Sacramento KINGS ... The KC Royals are the baseball team ...

No, it was the royals, they did move to KC but changed to the Kings then, then moved to Sacramento. Try a google search bub
