Here’s the problem with saying the weather was a determining factor. The Browns were ahead before it started to snow. Pickens whining about the weather and claiming it gave a home field advantage is lame. Both teams play in winter weather in open air stadiums. Are the Browns a better team? They were last night.

The Browns were winning 18-6 when the snow really started to come down. If you go by that, the Browns were hurt by the weather. I'm stunned the Steelers didn't run the ball more in the second half. I thought the running game looked great on their first drive then they decided to rely on Wilson's arm the rest of the game (except on obvious short yard situations). It made no sense.

if you are stats minded then this is how he is doing in 2024 compared to the rest of his years as a QB since 2015 according to AI - Comparison to Career Trends: Completion Percentage: His 62.2% completion rate is slightly above his career average (~60.5%). This suggests he's been more efficient compared to his early years. Yards per Attempt (AVG): His 7.4 YPA aligns well with his career average (~7.5), indicating consistency in stretching the field. Touchdown-to-Interception Ratio: With 7 TDs and 4 INTs in 9 games, Winston has a 1.75 TD-to-INT ratio, which is better than his career average (~1.43). This indicates improved decision-making. Passer Rating: His 88.5 passer rating in 2024 is a slight improvement over his career average (~85.0), showcasing more stability in his play. QBR: The QBR of 67.5 is a significant improvement compared to many of his prior seasons, where he hovered around the 50-60 range. It suggests that his overall impact on games has been stronger this year. Big Play Potential: An 89-yard completion in 2024 is one of his career-longest plays, showing that Winston can still make explosive plays. Sacks: With 13 sacks in 9 games, his sack rate is lower than in some earlier seasons (e.g., 2019 with 47 sacks). This could indicate better offensive line support or quicker decision-making. Summary of 2024 Season: Jameis Winston has shown improvement in several areas in 2024 with the Browns, including completion percentage, decision-making, and overall efficiency (QBR and passer rating). While he's not producing at elite levels, his numbers suggest he has been a solid contributor for Cleveland, with fewer turnovers compared to his high-risk years in Tampa Bay. If he continues on this trajectory, he could finish the season as an effective starting QB.

The team is way too one dimensional with Russ at QB. The only thing he can do is throw a moon ball. It got exposed last night. Tomlin is terrified for whatever reason to open the playbook for young QBs and let them learn on the job. He’s going to take another 1st round exit this season and lose Fields. All because his ego is too big to admit benching Fields was wrong.

The Browns are a better team than their record indicates simply because Watson is gone. Cleveland with Watson is 1-6. Cleveland with Winston is 2-2. They aren’t good, but the aren’t awful. They just… are.
@kenmauge80322 күн бұрын
The browns with Winston are getting some traction finally. This team will make a comeback. Next season will not be as poor of a showing as this season. The browns have talent, and can easily become what they were last season. Watson was the problem. He was a cancer ,and it was obvious. Stefanski will coach this team back up . As for the rest of this season i think they will show up ,and be competitive at least .

Pickens is soft as Charmen! It didnt snow only on our side of the field. We were up two scores before the snow. When the snow came down we had two turnovers that let them back in the game. They actually played better in the snow so wth point foes he have? U got locked down all game and u lost! We're not a good team? Well whats that say that i lost to us. Btw we just beat Baltimore as well and we actually did more than kick a bunch of fgs! They're the worst 8-3 team in the NFL!

I said it before and ill say it again! We started the season with almost no healthy lineman. Chubb was out for 8 weeks also. And we had a bum playing QB for us. Our line is finally getting healthy,chubb is getting more comfortable every game,and Winston is much better than Watson in every way. So were not as bad as our record and pitt has won a few close games without scoring tds. Kicked a bunch of fgs and got lucky. Theyre not as good as their record either. At the end of the yr they'll be right where they always r. Hoovering around .500. If they dont sweep Cinnci they're in trouble,mark my words! They play at Philly, Balt, then KC and at Cinnci. They can realistically lose 4 outta 5 to close the season and be 9-7. 10-6 best case scenario IMO.

Blaming the weather is...Inaccurate. If anything, it put the Browns at the disadvantage, and they lost the lead briefly. WHAT is harder to spot on a White field? Visitor White jerseys, or Brown jerseys? The white jersey is obviously easiest to lose track of, and may have cost Winston an interception. The wind might have been a disadvantage, but wind is indiscriminate.
