Ik has the best tape emulations spot on. No question. It made me remembered exactly how this machines sounded in my teen years. Exactly emulated. I’m blowed by the sound of this plugins.

I use it really a lot. Personally I like all these emulators. I can't compare with the real machine but I like the result. In the end of the day everything is digital these days)))

All T-rackS plugins for $49 right now. Sounds like a good price but others have also complained about spending hours with the installers.

I just shot out the Tim P...Tape plugin...used the Tape Saturation plugin that goes with the regular tape plugin...as a -15 db send effect on the whole drum bus...with the L Bus Comp on my Master bus....wowww...whole new level...regular digital plugins like these just dont measure up......

Tims work is overlooked by many. DSP plugin versions of analogue hardware are dire compared to Tim P, Cupwise, Alex Bs programs.

@@thegroove2000 I agree I reacenlty added a SondCraft LX7II with my Analog Rack and upgraded my interface to a UAD 476 with my Analog Rack, with a Lewitt Mic, and Aleses M1 Actives MK2 Monitors.... so....Im using Nebula and Acustica Audio on Masters ran through my analog gear....wow.... Whole new level.....thats all I can say I definatly am free of Having to go to a bigger studio to finish my Album

That Tascam mixer isn’t very similar to the 388. The closet stand alone mixer to the 388 is the M308B.

@@pedrockz I wouldn’t say it’s a scam. They are heavy on the cpu but from my research it’s because they are pushing to get these tapes real close to the real analog. I’ve done A/B testing and although it’s like 100%, the plugin can get you at least 90% close. Lose a bit a warmth that you can crank in the plugin but it is more transparent vs the analog.
