Bundle was on a great sale recently for about 50 bucks, and I got an additional seven dollars off with my points. So ended up paying about $42 for all 50 something plug-ins. I can’t say I am disappointed.

Yep you're right about the "GB" being for Great Britain. The Distessor had an update a few years after release which added a switch that was called "British" mode and emulated the All Buttons In function on the 1176.

3:40 BUT REMEMBER like almost all plugin manufacturers, they be having constant deals, which often overshadows their “real price”. Right now in this moment all T-Racks 5 goes for $100 that includes their reverbs, other plugins, and almost any processor (including this compressor) for 30 dollars less, than if you would buy the standalone compressor. So this compressor seems more of a sweet deal now!!!
