Legendary Stefan. Cameras often store pictures and videos in the ram before putting it on a ssd or SD card. My 1dx can do 34 raw images of 30ish mb each before the buffer (the ram in the camera) is full. Same goes for slowmo, it saves the clip in the buffer and then moves it to permanent storage afterwards. Filming continually would need fast enough storage, and at the time of typing this, only ram is fast enough (or like.... 5 nvme ssd's in raid 0)

That way they have a steady supply to upload when they have months without being able to meet up and film etc.
