Dan Severn is such a nice guy and a real life beast.

Those two shoot German suplexes Dan threw in UFC 4 had me marking out harder than I ever have before or since. That was the reason I got into Judo (And Bad News Allen as well) That was my favorite MMA match by my favorite MMA fighter. Those suplexes made me a Dan Severn mark 4 LIFE!!!!

Back in the day I was always a big fan of Dan, a menacing man when he steps into his working environment, but after seeing a few interviews now he seems a well grounded excellent human being, I'm now an even bigger fan of the Man then I was The Beast. Thank you for many amazing experiences while spectating Dan's career, Great Work James, love the podcasts have caught up on them all now. Keep the amazing content coming.

Imagine being this badass. The casual smirk while he talks about taking people apart. His voice and casual demeanor do not match the intensity of which he would use to take your knee caps off.

Dan "Tanaka" Severn hehe. I remember NWA Clash of Champions there a guy who worked least twice or three times same card. I can't recall his name only he was a big fan of Evil Knivel. I could usually tell with most of them. Odd when he was Champion I don't think anybody knew it still existed once WCW made their own Title or TNA Impact did eventually too. Interesting Chris Candito had the belt. I mostly knew him from UFC. Sabu held that title longer than Kerry Von Erich ;). That a really interesting match with Japanese dude. HE Reminds me of Paul Ellering. Dan is Like A Real Super HEro Adam West kinda person. Best to Stay Off His Turd List That is Dark Place heh. His Brawl For All Story is Interesting and Confusing :). Al Snow UFC 4.

People agree to suspend disbelief watching wrestling . So Punk has not lost any caché in wrestling .

Wasn’t the angle supposed to mirror what owen did to Austin, in that case changing the wag the piledriver was performed would break kayfabe. I blame Vince for allowing this to happen after the first incident.
@bobsakamoto19123 жыл бұрын
So you could say it doesn’t matter because they are two different sports. Remember James Toney is still one of the GOATS of boxing! So Punk was just a crossover sports star. Would you judge Brady if he didn’t do well in a game of rugby?
@MuhammadsMohel2 жыл бұрын
In all honesty Punk is more of a shooter than Daniel Bryan has led folks to believe. He lost to a younger brown belt, no shame.
@deelux55192 жыл бұрын
CM Punk isn't a "cross-over" sports star. He's a Mark who should have never been allowed into the ring. He embarrassed himself and the business. He is the best example of why old timers said "Don't allow marks to get in the ring, it will kill the business."......Well....IT HAS!!! CM Punk isn't an athlete, he isn't a wrestler and truth be told he's not even a worker......He is a MARK!

Interesting about Owen Hart dropping the beast on his head following the SCSA incident. Thought the Severn tombstone was a work.

It was supposed to be a work. But Owen apparently f’d up and dropped Dan on his head for real.
