I think Rick's career & even the Steiner Brothers tag team run is kind of overlooked/underrated these days because of Scott's singles success. Rick was always super over as a character babyface & the Steiner Brothers are easily the best/successful tag team of the 1990's. Rick's early promos were always entertaining & crazy fun. Super believable. Invented reverse powerslam. Success story after wrestling!

Before Flair buried Rick into that stupid gimmick, Rick was a solid pick for NWA World Champion. Anytime Flair felt threatened, he'd have whatever buddy was booking bury the guy. Did the same with Rotunda and Steve Williams.

steiners need to be in the HOF there doesn't even have to be a debate.
@TheHannibalTV8 жыл бұрын
They are in other pro wrestling HOF's such as the Dan Gable HOF in Iowa. The WWE HOF is very political and not always based on talent. Koko B Ware & Miss Jacqueline being in there before the Steiners is a good example of that.

Its either Hannibal's style or enough time has passed but the guys in the interviews get over really well, human, good dudes, no wrestling promo style rants - its cool to see Rick in this light, with getting to see more WCW stuff, a belated fan of Sting and the Steiners.
I thought the Steiner Brothers as a tag team was always fun to watch. They where one of my favorite tag teams to watch back in the day. Good interview, I love hearing about the old wrestling stories back in the day. Classic!
