Dan Vasc tem uma voz incrível, apesar de eu não gostar muito de música muito pesada, escutei ele cantando The Sound of Silence e é incrível, me lembrou um pouquinho a interpretação do Tom Ball cantando a mesma música, aliás indico muito o Tom Ball, ele participou do Britain's Got Talent e do American's Got Talent All Stars e a voz dele é muito incrível. A performance no vídeo "Tom Ball’s EXHILARATING performance gives us ALL the feels | The Final | BGT 2022" em que ele canta "I, Who Have Nothing" do Tom Jones é magistral.

Obrigada! (That’s the extent of my Portuguese.) I so much enjoy your discussions of Dan’s singing. BTW, I think his lowest notes are in The Rains of Castamere - D2. Are you aware that there’s a KZbin reactor who keeps posting videos saying that Dan is using Autotune? I don’t have perfect pitch but I think I’ve got a pretty good ear, and his pitch usually sounds right on to me. There are a few places, when he’s really low, where it seems he’s fighting for it, but otherwise he seems phenomenal to me, especially considering that he switches registers so often. Have you any opinion on the issue of Dan and Autotune? A great example of smooth and gorgeous register shifts, and very high pitch, is Wuthering Heights, written and originally sung by the soprano Kate Bush. I’ve been playing it constantly lately. Sorry this is so long! I look forward to more of your reactions. I just subscribed to your channel.

Hi Ross, welcome to my channel! Nowadays, most singers use Melodyne or Autotune to some degree. There's no problem with that; it's a regular tool we can use in musical productions. For me, the question is: Is Dan a good singer? Does he have excellent pitch? My answers are yes! Sometimes, you use Autotune just to correct one or two notes in the entire song. Sometimes, due to the quality of the singer, we must correct the entire song. He may use it or not; I'm not sure. But he sounds to me like an incredible singer; in my opinion, he doesn't need Autotune to make a living. These are only modern tools that you can use or not. Nothing changes my opinion; he is an amazing singer. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
