You really did them justice! They are the band Fearless. Dan is lead singer and the fellow in the white shirt is Dan’s brother Davi. Fabio was lead singer of Rhapsody of Fire for about twenty years and did metal covers with the late actor Christopher Lee (Dracula) for his roll in Lord of the Rings.Fabio has been Dan’s idol so to be able to do this collaboration was great for both of them Thank you

Jamie Mitchell has already mentioned most of the important stuff about the band, Fearless, with the line-up of Davi, bass Gabriel, lead guitar and Giovanni, drums. This video was shot in Dan's garage, which he has converted part of to his filming studio. The fact that Fabio was willing to participate in this video is a testament to how well regarded Dan is in the metal community. This is not his only colab, he has worked with former H.E.A.T. singer, and now Skid Row front man, Erik Gronwall; as well as PETRA members John Schlitt and John Lawry, to name but a few. Dan is a prodigious performer with a very specky vocal range...too much Dan is never enough 😃 🙃🐨🇦🇺

Fabio Leon is Dan one of Dans influences to sing the way he does. He is Dans hero. He was touring Brazil and accepted Dam’s invitation to do this song together. That is why Dan looks so incredibly happy. This was done in Dan’ garage. With Dan in control of nearly everything including the Videography, which has reached a new level of great.

Symphonic metal going on here. Fabio Lione's voice is one that Dan has used as a guide in his vocal training. To be able to do this collaboration must have been epic for him. You can see the respect he has for Fabio throughout the video. Great reaction and again, keep studying up on Dan Vasc! He's not at all boring to learn about!! :) One more thing -- it would be great if you would have a link in your description to the original video by the artist. Just a thought.

Great reaction, overall. I got tickled by your comments regarding sounds by victorious angels. I am familiar with angels. I've seen some, and I hear them--not always, but every so often. Generally speaking, everything they DO is victorious. What got me tickled, in this case, was that just three days ago, my 19-year-old grandson (who, by the way, looks nearly identical to Dan Vasc--it's quite amazing) was sitting and talking to me, and we were discussing the emotions that music pulls from people. We also listened to several pieces and then both of us gave our interpretations of what the music alone (no words) was saying. I'm used to the angels who are around here making their presence known every once in a while. We count on them for safety and protection--especially in these days. Sometimes I'll see a pair of (very large) boots just out of the corner of my eye. Sometimes there will be a quick touch on the arm, or a slight breeze will whisper by, when there are no windows open, etc. Once in a while one of them will say something. While Ethan and I were talking the other day, and he was playing one of his favorite songs on Spotify, one of the angels tapped me on the left shoulder, and said quietly, "Please tell him I REALLY like that song. It has the sound of VICTORY!" I told him, and he agreed. 😀 I believe this particular type of metal is generally called symphonic. There are not only "horns" (both brass and woodwinds, I believe, in this case--probably not being played, per se--probably being produced by a keyboard), there are strings in the mix, too. Since the song is about the "dawn of victory," I'm not too surprised that a symphonic sound is the setting. When a marching band is presenting anything "victorious," this would be the type of sound that results. Some of the best older victory pieces are from "fife and drum" corps. Trumpets (one of my own instruments) are well-known for sounding victory anthems. I was just doing an internet search regarding this type of sound, and one of the best articles I found has descriptions with dates, regarding when these things started happening in metal bands. The written article is called "Devil Horns: Metal Bands Who Use Brass and Woodwinds" (By Jon Wiederhorn · June 14, 2018). You can find it by searching for that title. The 2018 date is the year the article was written. The dates WITHIN the article, go back quite a long way.

Yeah I agree, It does have a Sabaton vibe. I love Symphonic metal and this collaboration is great. Actually Metallica added horns on some special projects and I think I heard Nightwish use them once but I am old and memory is shakey some days😂.😂😂 Happy to see you featuring more Dan Vasc. Would love to see Dan and Dimash doing a symphonic metal duet. Would be so epic❤️‍🔥🤘❤️‍🔥🤘 🥰🥰🥰Hugs from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦

This is a sub-genre known as symphonic metal, of which Sabaton seems to be a part. So is Nigtwish, Muse and even, to an extent, Pink Floyd. It has a HUGE following in Europe, but hasn't really hit the US too hard yet.
@corinareyes6106
@corinareyes6106 11 ай бұрын
You know I thought Eric's comment was good but once you put Pink Floyd in there, please. I will say Sabaton is an excellent band although Nightwish how can I put it is an acquired taste. But I would definitely never put Pink Floyd with any band of this past two generations. Pink Floyd, absolutely an amazing band that I've seen actually three times. To us older people he would fall under classic rock, heavy metal although people will probably argue with me and yes what they now call symphonic you see in my time there was no such thing. I just turned 60 I've listened to music my whole life my favorite is classic rock, Hard Rock some heavy metal well and then you go to Country :-). Dan although has an amazing voice he could do any genre and that is pretty awesome, it is worth hearing his music even though they are hardcovers hopefully he will come out with his music soon.

Rhapsody doesn't need to be in a sound track, they are the movie, each of their classic albums was a chapter in a high fantasy epic, each song advancing the story to a long orchestral piece to finish. Take a look at Symphony of the Enchanted Lands, for example. That's from 98. Look up Emerald Sword at Montreal to know how right you were about Fabio dominating the stage. 😉😉🤘 There are good reasons they are favorites of Dan's... and mine. 😁😁
