This song is my first Dan Vasc introduction. Many have done this song very well, but this version is how this song is meant to be sung. Based on the contents, sung with all the passion of life. My mom recently passed away and this was one of her favorites. It is a hard song for me to listen to. When I heard this version, I had full body chills, not only from his voice but the facial expressions throughout this performance. My mom, God rest her soul, would ha e loved this.

There is no comparison to the song, the voice and tbe emotion. Unparalleled, he in a class by himself. Also does his own harmonies. Though its not Christmas, please listen to, Angels you have heard on high." Another breathless surprise. There is absolutely no one like him. Also , Alleluia. Big grid of about 24 Dans. All him, doing that many harmonies! He's in a class all his own. There truly is no one like him. Sings in 5 languages including Bocelli music and opera, which i never liked. Song is subtitled, which is great. Never listened to opera. Couldn't stand it. Loved his version . Love him, everything about him. Also does Elvis, Disney, takes some requests. Thats the effect he has. Not a day goes by that a reaction video doesn't come on, most with the same unbelievable loss for words. Profoundly moving, only one commentor out of a kazillion, that was not impressed. He served in tge military, which translates to his beautiful posture. Sorry, i notice everything. Coukd still go on and on, but you'll find out for yourself. God gave him a tremendous gift and he honors that gift starting with that one incredible song, then many more. He is a treasure to his parents, (dad died of ca years ago ) Could tell more, but ill stop now. And i rarely listen to music. Only on occasion when in the mood. ❤

Wow is right. I have listened to this song by Dan at least 50 or more times and it hits me the same every time. Dan Vasc (Vasconcelos) was and is a metal singer. He is a brilliant musician. I think he can sing just about anything. Love him to death. Can't stop following him. He is a christian. Plays many instruments. Does all his own recordings and all prod. In his own home studio. He is something. A one man show. He begins a capella in bass, which has an alone, humble sort of feel to it. The harmonica section gives it a generational echo which is a beautiful touch. As it builds and he starts to really put his "pipes" into it, it begins to feel like triumph of grace over sin and the grave, and gives beautiful resolution to it. Dan has definite skill and a buttery feel to his voice. Good job!

I never heard of him before. This song and him just appeared on my feed. When I heard him, I got the strangest goosebumps I've ever experienced!! It was like the Holy Spirit in me came rushing out of every single pore of my skin! Then grabbed hold of me and took me half way to Heaven!! I cried and was an emotional wreck by the time he finished the song. Strangely enough it still does that to me! I am still tearing up as I write this comment! I can't help it!! He took a basically dead hymn and brought it back to life as it was always meant to be performed!! I think he's an ANGEL!!! I really do!! You ought to hear him sing our National Anthem!! Does the same thing to me!! I want to get ahold of President Trump and tell him he needs to have him sing it at all National events!! Because I don't want to hear anybody else sing either of these two songs. As good as they may be, they couldn't hold a candle to him!! And I'm telling you.... He did Amazing Grace.....(now this is hard for me to say )...but... He did it better than ELVIS! I NEED TO HEAR HIM SING " HOW GREAT THOU ART! " That would be the kicker!! I grew up on Elvis. I remember I was like 3 or 4 when Elvis hit the big time! My big sister taught me to swing dance to ELVIS! So, I am a conesuar of the King ! My Mother ( rest her soul) Loved this song and it was played at her funeral. God has Blessed Dan with this voice and Dan has Grace everyone by singing Amazing Grace. I've only ever heard this song sung close to this great just once. This is by far the best rendition I've heard. The only one close is Dropkick Murphys rendition, but this even beats that version. Dan's voice is in a class all is own.

Speechless, jaw dropped, wide-eyed, that’s how I was at the end of this…experience. This guy has one of the most exquisite voices I’ve ever heard, but as though that wasn’t enough, he sings with such amount of emotion that we’re led to a void where not else exists during those few minutes, time just stops. I’ve Enjoyed this hymn from near birth. Different styles and so on. I happenstance on Dan’s rendition about two weeks ago while warming myself next to our fire-stove. I was crying and Exhilarated all at the same time. It was like hearing it for the first time by the one it was written for. It has touched what seems at least a million thus far. Dan’s voice is a witness to the creative power of Jehovah God Almighty and the Love both he and his son Jesus have shown to All peoples of the face of this earth.
