Dan used to do a lot of session work for the band Orion's Reign. I like this version of Thunderstruck even better than the original. As another reactor said, "How do you make an already epic song even more epic? ... Involve Dan!" Dan has covers from the 70's and 80's, including Boston, Aerosmith, Skid Row, to name a few. By the way, Dan does have his own band - named Fearless. There's a whole album of their songs / original music on Dan's page.

Orion's Reign is a group from Greece. It was all filmed in Greece except for Dan's part. Dan did session work for them while living in Brazil. Great song!

Orion's Reign is known for making heavy metal Christmas music, which usually features Dan Vasc and Minniva, sometimes both of them together.

What a masterpiece by Dan. Thank you for your continued reaction to this cover by Dan and Orion's Reign. As has already been mentioned here, Dan was the main vocalist of this band from 2016 to 2017. They released several songs and music videos. He then left the band to pursue his own KZbin channel. From October 2017, when he had 4,000 subscribers, Dan began releasing videos weekly. In May he reached his 1 million subscribers. I have to say respect. I understand that he is taking a break. Some people are upset that he hasn't released another cover after the million. These people would probably never be able to achieve such a feat themselves. Thanks for sharing

He was just a session singer for Orion's Reign which is a group out of Greece..they called him lead singer but never toured with them

Love this reaction video!!! Dan does have the perfect voice for this song…and I think he has a perfect voice for anything he chooses to sing. Dan is so versatile and can do extraordinarily well at everything he does! This song gets your blood pumping and gives a jolt to your day!!! I don't know about everyone else, I personally am absolutely thunderstruck to the point of electrocution. His posture, hand movements, countenance and high pitches are electrifying. I could literally see lightning bolts coming out of his eyes. In the opening sequences he reminds me of a cross between an enraged Zeus and a dark Thor. Zack... If you wanna be genuinely blown away by a classic rock cover by Dan, try More Than A Feeling by Boston! He hits Brad Delp's highest notes without any tech assistance! And he recorded it 6 or 7 years ago. Imagine what he could do with it now!!!!

I like it better than the original. Dan is simply amazing. He was the lead singer in Orions Reign for about 2 years, where Dan also recorded some Christmas songs with Minniva. Many thanks for your reaction.

I love the way Dan mixes things up & creates something spectacular out of already great songs. As much as I love the original (probably my favorite AC/DC song), I'm tempted to say I like this creative cover better. The collaboration between Dan & Orion's Reign definitely produced some awesome music, and this video was just fun to watch. They are great musicians. In reference to Dan having a perfect voice for old-school rock songs from the 80s, etc, he definitely does & he's a fan of that era's music. You should check out his Metallica (Enter Sandman, Sad, but True, etc) and especially his Iron Maiden covers (The Trooper, Two Minutes to Midnight, and **Number of the Beast). He's done Aerosmith covers, too. They're all good.😊

Yes! Great reaction! Im so glad you did this one. Not too many reactors have. I definitely prefer this version over the original. I like all the symphonic metal that was added to it, and Dan did an amazing job of living in that high range! :)
