I saw somewhere that Victor's guitar playing was so close to the original that KZbin had blocked, or demonetized Dan's video when he first released it. That was quickly cleared up.

The intro voice was by Dan's gaming friend, FeardaBeardo. The guitar player is Victor the Guitar Nerd. Credits are listed at the beginning. Notice how the first scream yowl was 16 seconds? Perhaps to reflect upon the 616? I absolutely love the videtographt, music, message, boldness, fluidity of this masterpiece. Dan played homage to Iron Maiden while keeping it Dan. Remarkable! IMO, Iron Maiden did a great job, but projected disbelief, due to it just being a warning, if not celebratory, dream in their eyes. Dan, on the other hand, seems to take it from a dream warning into a reality. Imo.

Btw.: For your info: Victor (Jonasson) - playing the guitars here - is from Sweden and one of the guitarists in the swedish Dark Metal band "ELEINE". Maybe you know them and their "We shall remain" (released a few months ago). If not, well, you should imo 😉

Victor the guitar nerd played it so well it got the dreaded strike - they figured it out so here we are. Dan does all the vocals but is very heavily invested in the music to get it timed to the vocals and make it punchy.

Yes, the guitar is played by Victor The Guitar Nerd, aka Victor Jonasson, who is now a full member of ELEINE (wearing an ELEINE t-shirt). Dan can play guitar as well as other instruments such as piano but as he said in an interview "not well enough to perform" but well enough to understand what they can do (because he is a composer too). Great reaction. Thank you.

Dan has other youtube musicians do the instrumentals in his videos. He has stated that he can play a number of instruments but not well enough. His number one instrumental focus is his voice. 😊

It's funny - when i hear people say he sounds like the original - because I've heard a lot of different versions by Iron Maiden now, and i don't think Dan sounds like Bruce AT ALL, his voice is deeper, fuller with a lot more resonance in the deep register, and he puts a lot more and sharper grit into it, than Bruce did in any of the versions I've seen. And his scream is held longer and dwells more in the slide. So no, i don't agree with that sentiment at all. But then different ears hear different things.

Agreed! While Bruce has a good voice, Dan's voice is stronger, richer, and like you posted, more resonate. His voice is absolutely beautiful to my ears no matter what music he's performing. ❤️
