Dan used to put out new music weekly. After 10+ years of it on youtube he is now focused on quality over quantity. He has a couple projects in the works, an album of new original music, and, a tribute album to Manowar, his favorite group. Love your reaction! ❤❤❤😊

Also, he has mentioned (in the same conversation where he talked about the original music and the almost-completed MANOWAR tribute album) that he has been thinking a LOT about doing a metalized traditional hymns album. If you go back and watch his early videos and then find ones that are a few years later and then then the "Witcher" timeline and beyond, then Amazing Grace you will see his growth and progression quite nicely. lolol. I think this cover shows cases the true talent if the artist who is Dan Vasc. He has said his true passion is rock and this displays that to perfection. His best song is of course Amazing Grace but the best overall performance is this cover. It is outstanding.

I always enjoy your reactions to Dan Vasc! Dan Vasc doesn't have specific release dates. He mentioned in a live chat some time ago that he would be doing a cover of this song for Halloween. He went on a family holiday after this announcement. I thought he would release the song earlier, but we had to wait until late on Halloween night. Then there was another live chat with Dan, and he released the song just 2 minutes before midnight. The other day, Dan informed us that he received a copyright strike immediately after releasing because Victor the guitar nerd played the guitar exactly like the original. But Dan assured us that everything is okay.

I find it so interesting that YT would say that @victortheguitarnerd 'copied' the guitar solo. WE all absolutely know that there is no way Victor is going to do that. He's not that copy-and-paste guy. He's going to for sure put his own spin on something - it may be close, but he's not going to create a copy! A real musician always wants to put something of themselves into something they're covering. Victor blows me away with what he does and how well he and Dan collaborate. Did Dan do a live chat on Halloween before he released the song? I'd just about given up on Halloween that it was going to come out then ta-da there it was!! :) :)

Dan told what I said. On a guitar no one can copy and paste. That's why the copyright strike was taken away. The Livestream has been on Geeks + Gamers and the name is "Happy Halloween - Tuesday Night's Main Event". I spent the whole night to watch this and afterwards to watch Dan's video and then to watch first reactions, to comment on Dan's video and to comment on the first reactions. What a great reaction to this video. It's been awesome to finally be able to see a newly released video that Dan has done. And as usual, it is epic!! I'll be honest, as a Christian, it was a little difficult for me at first just because of the lyrics, but I've come past that and I see the video now for the true talent that is dripping in, around, and through it. Dan has definitely stepped up the game a few notches as far as videography. This was gorgeous in that. I can't wait to hear the new original music and Manowar cover albums. @@Lydelith I so agree! What really amazes me about this Dan cover is how every note is not just sung well, but, performed for the greatest musicality, variety, and, impact. Dan really dug deeply into his bag of vocal wizardry here. I'm not that big a fan of the song itself, but, how Dan sings it just blows my mind and I'm listening to it over and over.

The videography makes me wonder if he found another studio to record in. I get the impression that the one in his home is not large enough to do a full body shot. Just for your fun, Dan has a few videos that are not music in which he answers questions, shows off his studio, etc. that are fun to watch-he has a strong sense of humor. He moved his video recording studio into his garage some time ago, can't remember exactly when, but it's at the end of one of his videos. He also mentioned on one of the gaming live streams something about "not bad for an idiot from a 3rd world country in his garage"... again, I remember the context of the convo but I think they were talking about the whys and wherefores of production... Dan had put out a little teaser at the beginning of October letting us know it was coming. I waited all day, and when he finally dropped it late on Halloween, I shrieked so loud, my friends burst out laughing!! Love your reaction, always awesome!! I'm not sure if you already did, but his video from Halloween last year was also epic!! He did Dr. Stein by Helloween, also black and white, kinda old school horror vibe, I know it's gotta be hard to keep up, your reactions are awesome!

Epic - and in this case haunting - as usual! While there's no definitive info on the new music from Fearless, Dan's heavy metal band, a recent post by a sound/recording engineer discussing putting final touches on Fearless music suggests it will be dropping soon so keep an eye on all of Dan's sites. I check them all several times a day so I know the minute it's available. Happy anticipation! 😉

Dan's whole band feature in the clip and are mindblowingly good and to see him sing alongside the song's original vocalist is brilliant. You should definitely check out Dan’s Manowar covers! Manowar is his all-time favorite band and their lead singer, Eric Adams is his biggest vocal influence. I would definitely check out “Black Wind Fire And Steel” with Luis Mariutti from Angra and Shaman, “Heart of Steel”, and “Battle Hymn”. He’s also currently working on a Manowar tribute album and a couple days ago, the band reached out to him on Instagram after getting many tags on a post they put out about a cover contest. I’m definitely sensing a future collab with the two in the near future, but we’ll have to see! 👀

This was released late at night on Halloween (around 10-11 p.m.). Fitting song for the occasion. If I heard correctly, I believe this was a video that KZbin demonitized at first because they thought some of the guitar was taken from an Iron Maiden copyright source, but it actually was Victor the Guitar Nerd playing. They had to prove it, and then KZbin relaxed. If that indeed was the case, that in itself is a tribute to how crazy good Victor is (which we already know). Dan actually made this song even better imo (not a surprise). I wasn't even a really big Iron Maiden fan, but can't deny how well done this was and have to admit that I've replayed this several times now. Thanks for doing a reaction. I'm not sure which other videos of Dan's you have done, but his version of Amazing Grace was my intro as it was many others. Hus Nessun Dorma shows off his operatic vocals. Adeste Fidelis is awesome. Dan's metal covers of Witcher Series songs (originally done on a lute in the show/game) are a display of his ability to transform music from one genre to another and make it uniquely his, too. I watch their videos to see and hear Dan. But I listen to FEEL Victor... there is something about his playing you can actually feel in your body...in your cellular make up. Now Dans singing can get there as well especially his guttural growling and deep vocals... his usually hits 'other' areas. But Victor brings it everytime to all your body...not just your ears. Thats why i listen to these 2 on repeat.
