The way that Dan holds himself when he sings is the proper posture a singer should have to maximize breath. Where he has the cameos of those different singers I think in the original song in the movie Mulan at that point in the song different characters sing that little line. The second gentleman is Jonathan Young another well-known KZbin artist whose particularly known for his low bass. He actually did a cover of this song way before Dan ever did. Here's some additional info from a (real) metalhead.. The dude at 5:22 is Martin 'Skar' Berger from the once great German folk metal band "Equillibrium". The dude at 5:24 is Jonathan Young, another musician on youtube. He also makes metalcovers of songs. The dude at 5:27 is Peter Hollens, he mostly makes accoustic song covers using only his voice. (check out his stuff, really!) The dude at 5:30 is Ken Tamplin a Christian rock performer and vocal coach. The girl at 5:33 is Charlotte Jafari, I don't have much info about her, she's not that famous to me. The dude at 5:35 is Raphael Mendes from the Brazilian heavy metalband "Icon of Sin".

First, it is nearly impossible to believe that Dan is covering Donny Osmond, the poster guy for bubblegum pop music. Second, the character he is portraying is reminiscent of Sun Tzu, a Chinese General who wrote the guide "The Art of War" and the song includes some of his philosophies...Third, the guest singers are playing roles from Mulan, of a ragtag bunch of mercenaries who are not ready for combat.
