The guy I bought my mks from splurged on everything but the navigation. I’m wondering if I can upgrade the dot matrix display to an LCD or if Lincoln locked that down in software.

I can see my screen at night but in daylight it looks brown and streaked. Is there a glass covering it? It is touchscreen.

man my car radio is doing the same thing i have a 2009 i thought the daytime mode was on but the yellow doesnt go away on daytime or night

Yeah the screen is just going bad, I'm not sure there a fix for it.

Unless you go with an aftermarket touchscreen im not sure the oem nav will plug in, the connectors are probably different but im not 100% sure

@@Dan300 yes sir I found one on ebay, my 09 mks has like a basic radio in it now if it makes sense, but after seeing your video I am wanting to buy that screen, what do I all have to buy in order for it to fit?

Like just the mounting bracket I'm assuming is all I need minus tools to get trim off

@@coreyconklin3175 oh okay yeah I got mine off ebay aswell. Im not sure you can just swap the screen into the standard radio. The wiring is and connectors are probably different. But im not 100% sure. I haven't taken apart the standard radio
