@steady2wheels Exactly, and honestly, I felt the same. I didn't expect Cain to be able to win, seriously. This just shows how great Cain Velasquez really is. But one thing confuses me - Brock said that he wanted some layoff after the Carwin fight. Yesterday he didn't seem very excited and willing to fight. Something had to be wrong with him I think.

Man, Dana is really good at dodging questions (Shields title shot, Tito in or out). No wonder he's gotten into politics. And yes, Fedor would really help stack this division, now that it's been shaken up. Fedor vs. Cain? Yes, please.

Win or loss TITO sells tickets period! I think TITO is very relevant, he is perfect for the Senior UFC Championship, a long with Mark Colman, Mark Kerr, Matt Hughes, Rampage Jackson, Chuck Liddell, Royce Gracie... Their all relevant, maybe they can't compete like they use to, due to age, and injures, but they sell Tickets! They put the UFC on the map. I love all those guys and I buy tickets!

@ThePintoAce Hopefully man. I mean Fedor was dominant for so long and Overeem is becoming a juggernaut. A win for either one of them would definitely allow them to climb the ladder to being the most dominant heavyweight in MMA. Of course if they also compete and win in the UFC that would be epic.

@SirBarneyGumble Cutting Tito sounds good in theory, BUT u gotta consider a few things: 1) in those 4 years, there's only been 5 fights and NONE of 'em were easy fights. 2) he gave Machida the most trouble before Shogun. 3) if it wasn't for a fence grab, he would've beat Rashad. 4) and Forrest, Hamill, & Chuck (in his prime) aren't the easiest guys to beat. 5) despite injuries & personal issues, his losses were never THAT bad. i say keep him around as a BIG NAME mid-carder (e.g. Matt Hughes)

It shouldn't even be a question of whether Sanchez goes back to 155 or not. He looked emaciated there, and he just wasn't powerful enough to put guys away. Despite losing to a really lanky guy in his first fight back at 170, he should stick around. He just looks more natural at this weight.
@booooboooo201014 жыл бұрын
Now that Dana's main draw has been diluted somewhat, Dana should seriously look at aggressively pursueing Fedor to come to the UFC. Fedor would be a HUGE draw and would put up a better fight against UFC heavyweights. In fact I think Fedor can tear it up in the UFC.

@blueswan1984 WWE doesn't have a mind. Vince may mind, but at this point, what's he going to do if the Undertaker pisses him off, fire him? It just means that Taker won't get huge booking, and he's probably going to retire soon anyway. Even if Vince minded I doubt he could sue Foley or White for using the term undertaker.

Dana seemed a bit uncomfortable about some of the lesnar questions but sometimes you need to ask the tough questions and who better to ask than the prez. I got respect for dana and he answers questions well, he is a great president. sucks that brock lost and i think dana secretly wanted brock to stay champ, afterall lesnar is great for business, how many champions is ufc gonna have that are that entetaining, hopefully brock comes back stronger and gets his property back.

@mattyh5101 LOL True. Dana should be smart for how far he got promoting his organization but if you can see through the hype you know he can twist certain perspectives. When Dana signs guys to 6 fight contracts who are clearly past their prime (and have diminished skills), in order to prevent them from going to other promotions...it sets up for boring fights. Also, pay a better base salary and rid of the fight of the night bonuses. Clearly, too many fights are only going for that bonus.

@mtlaw007 Im not disregarding his first defeat,its still on his record,but i was just referring to the fact that it was a loss due to the guy cheating(his opponent opened a cut by elbowing him,and due to the rules of that match,elbows werent allowed if you didnt have elbow pads)otherwise,i agree that the last 2 fights were legitimate losses.but i also hope that he stays in it for at least a few more fights cause i havent seen alot of them and i want to see Fedor win at least one more y'know?
@jiggyy14 жыл бұрын
@TEXAZHAZE he's not a bad match-up for gsp at all. st-pierre has far superior striking, his wrestling's at another level, the only problem he'd have would be trying to submit jake but i doubt he'd bother there. shields looked gassed tonight, most likely due to a difficult weight cut. it's not like kampmann was pushing the fight at a fast pace.

I don't think Dana is pissed, if Brock applies himself crazily again like after he lost to Frank then they can rebuild him pretty quick, maybe after 1 or 2 wins. I would say he is worried though because he more or less indicated Brock is pissed at a lot of things, and if Brock has fallen out of love with MMA already then UFC have problems.
