Who was it that brought eyes to the UFC? No one knew who Matt Hughes, Chuck Liddell, or Tito Ortiz were until Ken Shamrock came back and helped them gain exposure. He could've stayed in Japan but the UFC was everything to him and he cared about the fighters making a living out of MMA in America. Fighters are underpaid even Dana says this but you wonder where that money's going? Events headlined by undercard fighters! Ken wants a fighter's union, Dana's against it out of greed.

Talks tough but Shamrock would kill him. Also I believe Shamrock was probably right, the ufc v tito (first fight) was big. He had a stipulation that he's get more money if it went past 100k. Even though he lost I think Shamrock and Tito got screwed.

Ken Shamrock is always relevant, he is an MMA legend, an MMA pioneer. People who don't realise this are fucking stupid. Considering how Dana is talking about his former champions and other UFC legends, I'm sooooo glad that Fedor never fought there. The UFC doesn't deserve Fedor. Fedor is the greatest ever and he made his life great without the UFC. So amazing.

So if I understand this right, Dana thinks Ken owes him money for attorney fees? I don't think that is how it works does it? (I'm no lawyer and have never went to court so I don't know but I don't think you get reimbursed for attorney fees). Plus, from what I understand, UFC fighters don't get paid all that great (compared to how much money they bring in), certainly in those early days. I think he can let Ken keep his 175K( Ken probably needs it more than Dana)
