@@hajiee Well, the fighters get locked into contracts and then don't get 3 fights every year when they speak up, so that the contracts can get extended by 6-8 months every time, which means that they're gonna be past their prime when they get released or they get fooled into the politics of the UFC by not taking fights and get neglected, which again means that they will get humiliated on their way out by not getting paid when they're inactive for various reasons and the UFC playing with them. Even GSP recently got released when he asked for getting the opportunities to compete elsewhere and do other projects, but got refused. The Francis situation is worse as well, he couldn't even get the chance to be active when he was healthy and still in contract with no better deal, just embarrassing how the heavyweight champion in the UFC earns less than a flyweight boxing champion and less than 90% of the top contenders in various UFC weight divisions...

These people are all hand picked to ask questions and they don't want to lose that position. Fair enough Dana is not shying away from it all and is giving no excuses, but you need to let Ariel and others in to ask the real questions.

@@brunox3042 I am not necessarily saying they asked the wrong questions, I am just saying that they are hand picked by the UFC to be there, and the journalists know that if they piss off Dana, they could lose that position. There's lots of incentive for bias, which leaves them open for criticism, as you can see in the comments.

To atone, conduct an advocacy campaign for domestic violence? Does anyone believe that that would do anything, other than make Dana seem like more of a hypocrite? That's just a humiliation tour (which, some would certainly like to see, but not in furtherance of the goal of preventing domestic violence). The man has apologized: he's humiliated and will be for a long time. Everyone makes mistakes. He and his wife have apparently reconciled. Move on.

The UFC outside of the NFL and maybe boxing is a multi-billion-dollar revenue company He's just the president and the figurehead and the face of the company. Honestly he's done, he really doesn't think much is wrong. The guy was asking if he thought it might be good to support victims of domestic abuse etc, he deflected. He controls the media so well, I knew he did that but I didn't mind with fight stuff, but when it's something like this, it's wrong... take your medicine man. Perfect time to replace the previously untouchable Dana White with new blood.
