Lemmy was a very humble and generous person. Watch Dee Snyder from twisted sister tell the story of the TS first show in England .They had no record out yet and the crowd had never heard of them. As TS walked out in full make up and large hair the crowd in unison pulled their arms back to throw water bottles to force them off the stage BUT Lemmy walked out and said “ this is Twisted Sister they are friends of mine give them a listen “ nothing was thrown at TS and the crowd even chanted for an oncore . That was how much he was respected . He wasn’t mean or spiteful.just a very honest and loyal person . 🤘🏼🙂

You've made my day. I knew you'd like Ace of Spades. Motorhead are really the Grandaddy's of speed metal.( Even though Lemmy always said 'we play rock n roll'). Before them no bands really played that fast and then newer bands decided to play even faster which led to thrash etc. I first saw them over 40 years ago when I was your age Juliet. Been a fan ever since..Other songs to listen to regardless of if you react to them or not are Overkill, Bomber, Limb from Limb and Stone Dead Forever. Keep Rockin' Girls.

Aw try ‘ overkill ‘ you guys will love it or a more recent song, ‘ the game ‘, it’s like Lemmy arguing with the grim reaper!! So many Motörhead songs. Mia will definitely knock the headphones off 🤣🤘

I could't do it and I really don't mean to put the drummer here (Phil), but today there are tens of thousands of drummers who play faster stuff as a casual warm up. Just look at guys like Nils Fjellström. Just to reiterate, I'm not saying his drumming isn't good or needs to be faster, but keeping this pace for longer isn't an unreasonable expectation.

Watching "Awakening" by Unleash The Archers always tires me out. I have no idea how the drummer keeps up the pace he does for such a long song.

Your enthusiasm and joy are a pleasure to watch as always. I'd also like to suggest a band -- Anacrusis. Perhaps the song "Sound the Alarm."

Original Powertrio is back together right now in some other place and dimension : Lemmy, Fast Eddie and Phil 'Filthy' Animal. Rock on!

Ok, Lemmy (RIP) is the lead singer and bass player. Peter Steele (RIP) of Type O Negative and Tom Araya of Slayer are the top notch bass player/lead singers. Enjoy, girls. 🤟🤟👍🇺🇸

So glad you liked this. It was a game changer when it first came out. Sadly, I'm old enough to remember!

Thank you Emmanuel for your kind words! And I didn't know that Motorhead was a huge influence on Metallica. Now that I know, I might have a second favorite band! LOL!

@@danasfaith5738 if I may..., Please do yourself a favor and check out "blessed be" or "rules of nine" by the band spiritbox. I'd love to see you girls react to either of those music videos but if you don't then just listen for your own pleasure. 😉

This song is short. This is by design. It was released as a single and made it to the Top 40 Pop charts. Pop not rock. This introduced my 13 year old self to metal. I am still a headbanger after all these years.
