If AUTO FOCUS isn’t a big deal, this LENS is the real deal.
While there are not so good things about this lens, for its price, it’s hard to beat.

Glad I found this channel! You the man! And super helpful review! I spent all my money on the sigma 24-70 2.8 and a Sonya7iii, so pulling the trigger on something cheap like the Meike 35mm 1.4 for funzies. Also kind of excited for the all manual, will be a good challenge since I’ve already got the 24-70 which can do the automatic necessities.

Just a tip about manual lenses. Some cameras has and color dot cloud in screen that you can see whats in focus. It´s called "mf peaking" check if your camera has this, things go SO much easier and satisfactory with manual lenses. No shot can go wrong with it.

Ui bro, buti nakita ko tong channel mo. Naka score ako ng almost brand new na a6000 20k lang with 3k shutter count. Balik loob kasi ako sa pag shoot, more on portrait and structure shoot. May time na ulit. Salamat sa review, wala pa sa budget bumili ng 20k lens

Correct me if im wrong bro, A6400 has no IBIS, the stabilization of A6400 is dependent on lens features. (Sony - Image Stabilization (IS); Tamron - Vibration Compensation (VC); Sigma - Optical Stabilization (OS)) ✌

Hello. In your ISO wheel, go to the top of the list, you’ll find Auto ISO. This works for both automatic and manual lenses.

If you’re using a6400, no way you can have it stabilized while shooting unless you use a gimbal.

@@DanboxingPH is the handling more difficult than f1.7? I heard from some review because of the f1.4 depth of field, it’s quite hard to lock focus as it can easily slip to pretty bokeh 😁. I’m totally new to manual lens. Thought I can give this one a try on my a6000. The camera been sitting in my drawer since the beginning of covid!
