Very helpful, thanks. Got one of these machines on the way to me and this video answered a lot of questions. I use a faucet-end water filter so back pressure should be OK. But I can see, I won't be able to use my filter and this thing at the same time. That's going to take getting used to. But at least the dishes will get done. No more disposable plates and flatware.

It’s been a few months now of having it and I’m still really happy. I found out if I only use hot water it will successfully use the the dishwasher “pucks” and they work so much better than the powder detergent.

How do you reset it mine won't turn on
@MCscarfacematt3 жыл бұрын
it is very easy to set up. i set mine up with one hand and no instructions the valves on the first faucet are garbage, the sacrifice you make for style. the leaking at the adapter i found it was the gasket in the adapter that was the issue for me and i didn't have it tight enough at first. ive had mine for 5 years, the only issues im having are, now it wont drain. it worked fine for the last year on the 50-year-old faucet at my new house the first faucet at the old house was 100+ years old and broke the day i moved in so it was already a new faucet when i hooked up the dishwasher. like i said i had the same leak at the adapter i took it off flipped the gasket and put it back on using vicegrips to get it tighter than finger tight just make sure lefty tighty doesn't become lefty loosey because thats a whole new issue

It doesn’t fit on my my countertop or under my cabinets. I had to make a ugly thing to move it around the kitchen.

It's technically still clockwise to screw in it is just upside down.

This works for the faucet shown in video but if you have pull-down modern faucet then this aerator won’t work. I found the solution after trying several connectors/ adapters. You would need 1. 6922 GARDENA Accessory Adapter and 2. Sioux Chief tomahawk /// LFA-677 937-733020101 Garden Hose 'Adapter | Adaptador | Adaptateur.

Add another washer in the adapter, should stop the leak. No tape needed. Ask your local hardware store for aerator washer.

I was wondering I’ve got a counter top dishwasher but was wondering as I live on the 3rd floor and I don’t want to annoy my neighbour as they’re lovely people but I moved my fridge ontop of my freezer leaving a space under the kitchen unit and I want to put my dishwasher there but I’m not sure what I need to do to prevent it damaging the floor or even disturbing the neighbours any suggestion like do I need to put something under it like wood to prevent any damage to the floor any suggestion I would highly highly recommend ❤️

I have the same dishwasher in the video and its quiet AF. If they can hear it then you need to tell them to get the fuq out of your apartment cuz thats the only way they'd hear it

We bought this model a year ago. The rack has now started to rust. We contacted Danby and after a frustrating back and forth I was told that there is only a 90 day warranty on plastics. I cannot begin to t ell you how insulted I was. It took 2 days for me to reply. Imagine a 71 year old grandmother having to tell Danby that plastic DOES NOT RUST. Needless to say Danby is off our good list and I plan to let the company that sold me this piece of junk know about it.

These all seem to be made by the same factory in China with different front doors. I have a Danby Countertop dishwasher (DDW631SDB) and the yellow supply connector accepts a dishwasher connector kit. Only need to buy three things from ACE Hardware. (Dishwasher Supply Line #4061180 $25.99, 3/8in Repair Valve #4309399 $14.99, Add A Tee Adapter #4309001 $12.49). Supply 2nd: To use the same supply hose but cut off the end and add an extension. (1/2 in. Barb X 3/8 in. Comp Brass Adapter #4000473 $6.99, 3/8in Stainless Steel Supply Line #4058681 $9.99 , and a Hose Clamp #41143 $2.59). The drain side: You have a few options, pull the bottom of the dishwasher off, pull the gray hose from the drain connector, unscrew and replace connector with (3/4in barb coupling #4568242 $2.79, 3/4in Vinyl Tubing, dishwasher tailpiece #43783 $7.59, Tailpiece Washer #44373 $2.49, and two hose clamps #41143 $2.59). Drain 2nd: You can also size down to 1/2in (1/2in X 3/4in Barb Coupling #4568259 $2.39, 1/2in Braided Vinyl Tubing #4315503 $16.99, Dishwasher Branch Tailpiece w/ 5/8in outlet, Tailpiece Washer #44373 $2.49, and two Hose Clamps #41143 $2.59). Drain 3rd: What I did to use the same connector, cut off the end and add an extension. (1/2 in. Barb X 1/2 in. Barb Galvanized Steel Coupling #41763 $4.99, Cut to measure 1/2in Braided Vinyl Tubing #4027603 $1.79/foot, Dishwasher Branch Tailpiece w/ 5/8in outlet, Tailpiece Washer #44373 $2.49, and two Hose Clamps #41143 $2.59). I made a hole in the stainless steel sink and run the lines down under the sink through a Bulkhead ABS Slip x Slip fitting to make the hole nice.

That's not the 'wrong type' of faucet, it's just a worn out shitty one.
