Xenia Goodwin (the actress playing Tara) was like 16 when the first season air, so if you focus on her, you're actually seen a teenager playing a teenager: The rest of the cast is a little bit older, from 1 to 4 years of difference, I think haha: They do look a little bit old, tho.

Yes it's always like that in these shows, but the actress of Tara was actually only 16 when they started filming and I think Jordan was also only 17. But Alicia for example was 19.

Tara definitely looks 15/16 and I could buy Sammy and Christian as well. Abigail looks about 18 or 19 but so do some 16 year olds. Kat is the only one that just looks like a grown woman to me. Definitely much better than what you usually see on teen shows, especially American ones, where every single one looks 25.

Yes and no. Abigail uses her meanness as a front and to get ahead, but her pretending to be nice isn’t her ether. Abigail is very career driven and focused but now and then you get a glimpse of her heart

Tommy Orosz The actress who plays Grace is not Rikki in Mako Mermaids, she plays Ondina. Rikki from Mako Mermaids (and it’s predecessor H20: Just Add Water), however, is actually played by the same actress as the one playing Isabelle in season 1! Which I think is really cool!
