Tillian grew up with a family involved in Scientology. He doesn't talk about it much, so I cannot say for sure how indoctrinated he was, but given his father was very involved, I would assume it had a lasting impact on his life. Enough to write this song, and Evaporate.

Growing up in a cult myself, I find a lot of solace in this song. It hits close to home.

I just saw them at the house of blues in Boston, I discovered this band right when all the covid shit started happening so I wasn't able to catch a show until now. This was my first REAL concert experience, and they absolutely FUCKING KILLED IT. They played all my favorite songs, the crowd got them to do an encore and they played Inspire the liars. They sounded so good through all of it, if these guys are coming to a town near you. See them.

I just discovered this song and can’t stop listening to it!!! I turn it on FIRST, every time I’m in the mood to listen to music, or am driving! Tbh I was surprised when I looked at the date it was posted- I honestly assumed it was from around my teen years, around 2004-‘08! It’s so similar to the rock style that was so popular at that point. I’m thrilled to find a newer band who enjoys that style as well. I’m not sure if it would be called rock-ballad-screamo, or what? Any way you guys are amazing, and the high notes you can reach really elevates the song IMO ❤️
