I love when people say "Sounds like this band" and then don't know what to think 30 seconds later. DGD is so unique we named an entire subgenre of metalcore after the guitarist.

The overall song arrangement is written by the guitarist Swan. He’s basically the core of the band and has his own label, and created Swan Fest!! True genius to be able to utilize his band mates’ different talents the way he does ❤

@@SeanStaxxMusic they really are, everyone is just so good on their respective instruments and I love the vocal harmonies and blending of the harsh and clean Vocals. Everything just fits Together seamlessly. Tilian has insane range. His solo stuff is really good too, their first singer Jonny Craig is insanely talented too but has battled heroin addiction and done some pretty awful stuff bc of it. He's been in a bunch of good bands but has been kicked out of every one of them. Check out Tilian ft Jonny Craig- back to life

I would say this is a great intro to DGD. You get a good mix of the clean and harsh vocals. The drops from heavy to soft. Then the funky breakdown at the end! Next Id recommend Inspire The Liars or Prisoner.

everyone usually suggests "inspire the liars" by them as a first song to get into them and they are right. more energy musically and vocally and a total random funky ass twist half way through. as a long time DGD fan can confirm it is the better song oh and the video usually confuses the hell out of everyone that isnt familiar with them as well lol also yea, they do switch it up alot. some heavier, some lighter, they even got a pop punk song, they have like 9 damn albums, 5 with this singer

I think a great one you'd like from them is "Into the Sunset (feat. Bilmuri"). I think it's a pretty underrated song from their newest album, but it has some great parts of a really good beat and some rap. A few of their songs do, but that one is great!

This is kinda random but if you want a different style from the singer and screamer they both have other bands/projects. Throughout all band members they have like 200 different projects haha but Tilian(the singer) just put out a solo album which is fantastic and the screamer has a band that is more generic metalcore for the most part no clean vocals called Secret Band
@SeanStaxxMusic3 жыл бұрын
200 projects?!? 👀 that’s nuts. Yea I wouldn’t mind checking out the solo album

@@SeanStaxxMusic I mean not 200 but it just seems like every member of this band has like 3-5 other bands or projects I'm not a super fan so I'm not 100% sure on this but of I had to guess between the 5 members of the band and the touring guitarist/backup vocals they have a solid 10-15 bands/projects
