I feel like most of the stories of the dances ALDC does are very abstract and we wouldn't get them at all without knowing the storyline ahead of time. Sure, dances like Stomp The Yard had a very clear story but ones like this... even knowing the storyline I just didn't see it.

There was 5 perfect scores in the entire Dance Moms history (until now) Maddie- All God's Creatures Kalani- Fragile Forest Kalani- Say Something Say Anything Lilliana- Straight Jacket Group Dance- Blush and Bashful 3 of them Kalani is a part of, despite Maddie being part of more group dances and solos Kalani Has 2 more perfect scores than her... Really makes me question the "Maddie Best Dancer" Title..
