That's the problem. They dont "have" to do anything. With money and contracts comes give and take. It's up to the producers what they think will bring in ratings and what won't. (And of course they are not always right). The show was never supposed to be about dance competitions. Going wayyyy back to pre season 1, Abby stated that she pitched the show as showcasing how insanely competitive, jealous and crazy dance moms can be. She was expecting 80% mom drama and the rest showing the kids dancing, etc.... but the producers had a better idea. And they focused on the kids (the kids cant make a dime from recorded shows because that makes them professionals and ineligible to compete at amateur competitions)..... the whole picking a favorite and pitting child against child and "mean abby" was not what she had in mind. Anyways y'all most likely know all this anyways. Just thinking out loud

I get your point and I totally agree that it's annoying how many dances we haven't seen. However drama was always the major thing about Dance Moms and I personally believe that it was the reason why the show became so famous in the first place. I don't think that it would be as popular as it is today if it was only about dancing. But not showing the dances that got first place is ridiculous, I totally agree.

I totally 100000% agree. There is so much evidence. I feel like she’s also INSANELY underrated. People compare her to other incredible dancers. But really Lilly is just as good. If not better. Remembering how advanced she is. All the dancers she is compared to are at least a year older. Her stage presence is beautiful. She’s got by far the best flexibility on the show. She’s got PERFECT technique. Her emotion is outstanding. She’s very versetile plus a pro at everything she does. Her stage presence is also the best to ever be on the show. She’s improved so much in only two years. Lilly works amazingly hard too but that’s kind of obvious. She can do anything. Jazz. Comtemporary. Acro. Ballet. Hiphop. Lyrical. Just thank you for finally realising how amazing she is.
