This solo just made me a huge fan of Lilliana, I can’t believe how controlled she was. Everything from the acting to her tilt, and her overall performance was fantastic. It’s funny that this was a tribute to Jojo’s dance because I went back to view it (Jojo’s) again and it’s nowhere the same level as this. This is like a Kalani dance.

If i’m being honest, i was never a huge fan of the way Lilly dances before. I always thought she would rush way too much. But here she took her time. This was the best she has ever dance. I'm not a dancer but I am an acrobat myself and I can tell you that it's VERYYYY important for your hands to be there if you need them because aerials psych you out and they end up being a little sloppy sometimes,needless to say but they are also very very dangerous.

Frances Commers This. The other problem is that aerials, especially front aerials, pretty much REQUIRE the use of arms for momentum, balance, and leverage. It would be not only dangerous for Lilly were she to fall, but she’d have a high chance of slipping or not making a full rotation anyways because her arms wouldn’t be there to help push her around.

I do think Lillianna was gifted a superior solo, but she also sold it a lot better. Lillianna acted very well in this solo and created a mood. Think back when Maddie and Chloe would be pitted against each other. Maddie would always be given the better solo, but Chloe sometimes one anyway. The fact Ellianna came in third, as opposed to second, tells me there were some issues with the solo.

This dance could have gone VERY badly. However Lilly pulled it off with such control and intensity. She nailed everything from the technique, flexibility, to the pace. The only thing I couldn’t wrap my head around was the acting. It was very hit or miss. There were parts where I felt like she was truly going insane, while others just didn’t fit the dance (like the part where she winks at the audience) . But overall, it’s an insanely good solo that I can watch again and again.
