I agree that the traffic noise really shatters the illusion that the music is being played in the peaceful countryside, where it so belongs. It takes me back many years, to when I first moved to rural west Wales, staring out of an old farmhouse bedroom window, watching the sheep grazing in the wild landscape. Moments of peace and healing. I'm not surprised by the earlier comment that it calms children. As has already been said, keep playing please!

our cells and our bodies completely different after 10 years but the patterns that make up our consciousness gives us a sense of continuity. kinda like the patterns that make up music can trigger specific memories of a time you heard those sounds and arrangements before.

Inspired by Sue Kirkpatrick, I bought a Hammered Dulcimer back in the 80s. Never ever managed to get anywhere with it but it makes you appreciate the artistry Dizzi and Emily are displaying. The kids bought me Dulci Duo and Dulci Duo for my birthday - both brilliant. I prefer your compositions.

+Mason Yu From the Old Testament - inspired word of God from the Book of Daniel Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?

Great composition!! I just got a dulcimer (a little 12/11) for my birthday and was looking for some inspiration fighting through the learning process. I am a drummer vocalist so I believe this fusion of rhythm and melody will be very liberating for me. Thank you, and what can I say... Keep It Up, Dizzi! ~

Your smile at the end is radiant... I simply have to comment on that. As well, your music has a great deal of emotion in it, and the natural setting of your videos really adds to the atmosphere your songs cultivate. A wonderful performance. And, one more thing... the dress itself is stunning, but more importantly, blue suits you very well. A wonderful choice.

I happen to love the outdoor recordings more then the studio ones. Only reason is the ambient sounds in the back add to the authenticity of the music provided. I hope to hear more of your works.

This is the video that got me to be a fan of dizzi. This is also the video that introduced me to her music. The hammered dulcimer is one of my most favorite instruments. I'm usually listening to heavy metal music... but I also listen to some guitar and other stringed instruments.... DADGAD tuning... celtic guitar you know. She should do a tour in the United States of America. She always seems to have ideas for lovely tunes to play on the hammered dulcimer. Well done... Great skill...lovely tune.

Oh Dizzy thank you for that piece, it is exactly the kind of music I love, old harmonies on a modern rythm, played on old fashioned instrument, with that bright and stained sound.
