I am curious, why ''almost '' ? I guess that there is a loop pedal that is used here. ? I think i can grasp which sounds are made on the spot and which sounds are a pre-registered loop. But i am not 100% sure, maybe this instrument is more multilayered that i think ?? _ i guess two Hurdy-Gurdy and a rythm box can do this. Or one loop pedal + one Hurdy Gurdy ?

Have you heard of The Kelly Family? They are sort of on as a band right nowhiatus right now, but one of their members plays the hurdy gurdy and one of the other siblings started his own group called Angelo Kelly and Family and he does an Irish folk cover of Massive Attack's Teardrop that is well work checking out.
