It is indeed one of their best songs ever published and I think it proves that DWTD should do more songs with singing because their sound became stagnant in my humble opinion... Lmao apparently people can't read that is says REMIX right in the title. Also this isn't disco. As others have said synthwave and the style of rock that the Dead Daisies do have similar roots and goals. It makes sense that this collaboration would happen. But seriously a remix doesn't mean the original band is changing their sound. That's...the point of a remix.

As a fan of Dance with the Dead, I want nothing but to like this track. However, it's too long and doesn't have the 'punch' that Dance with the Dead tracks normally have :(

Get the feeling this is going to please neither fans of DD or DWtD. For the zoomers out there, DD are, what did we call this back in the day, AOR, rock, classic blues-rock? For the boomers, DWtD are not a "disco" band, they're synthwave, a style that mixes computer music, metal and 80's synth nostalgia. Ironically, both styles of music are deeply rooted in the 80s, but back then they were often directly antagonistic. Synthwave is widely regarded as the spiritual successor to metal - unlike numetal, metalcore etc it retains a lot of the mood, melody and texture of true metal.

Nope, I am not big with this one. Gritty rock & roll has been the Daisies, not some disco/dance stuff for the European clubs. I am disappointed and am hoping this is the only tune that has wavered off the rock path.
