Wow, Anna Tsygankova... astonishingly graceful and poised, apart from the Russian-trained excellence, I like what I think is the French influence (reminds me of Aurelie Dupont in how much "room" or "space" there is in the dancing). The precision and dynamism are inspiring to watch. Matthew Godling is an excellent partner.

“Anna Tsygankova (Russian: Анна Цыганкова; born 1979) is a Russian ballet dancer. After terms with the Bolshoi and the Hungarian National Ballet, she joined the Dutch National Ballet in 2008 where she is a principal dancer. Born in Novosibirsk, Siberia, she received her training at the Novosibirsk Ballet Academy and the Académie de Danse Classique Princesse Grace in Monte Carlo. While she was with the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow, she was coached by Raisa Struchkova. In 2004, she joined the Hungarian National Ballet in Budapest before moving to Amsterdam in 2007 to join the Dutch National Ballet as a principal dancer. Tsygankova's repertoire include Giselle, Nikita in La Bayadère, Odette/Odile Swan Lake, Aurora The Sleeping Beauty and repertory by George Balanchine, Rudi van Dantzig, Wayne Eagling, William Forsythe, Kenneth MacMillan and Hans van Manen. Her role creations include Kitri in Alexei Ratmansky’s Don Quixote and Christopher Wheeldon’s Cinderella. She had made guest appearances with the Hong Kong Ballet and The Royal Ballet in 2014 and 2015 respectively, dancing Kitri in Don Quixote with both companies. Reviewing her performance of Cinderella, The Guardian noted that emotionally, "she carries the piece." In 2017, Tsygankova took time off from dancing to prepare for her baby's birth. She returned to the Dutch National Ballet in October 2018 with La Dame aux Camélias. Tsygankova's performances in Cinderella, Giselle, Mata Hari, The Nutcracker, and Don Quixote have been filmed in recent years. 1995, Prix de Lausanne (Switzerland), silver 1996, International Balletconcours, bronze 2008, Alexandria Radius Award 2012, Nomination Benois de la Danse 2014 Grand Prix, Dance Open Festival, St Petersburg 2016 Mrs. Expressivity award, Dance Open Festival, St. Petersburg 2017 Dancer of the Year - Critic's Choice 2017 Merit Award - Dansersfonds '79” (en.m.wikipedia)

Matthew Golding looks much more at ease here (better rehearsed) than with Mizuko Ueno elsewhere on KZbin. Also on that occasion he had a really badly fitting costume whereas here he is in the classical tights, shirt and waistcoat. Tsygankova is gorgeous.

No se de donde es el adagio, pero la variacion masculina es del ballet " Aroyo" y no tiene que ver nada con Delibes y Coppelia

This is a festival. He'll be lucky if the Mariinsky will have him back. He owes his career to the Mariinsky. Running away, without apparent factual knowledge of how and why the war in Ukraine started. It started with the US soft invasion of Ukraine following the US-backed, 2014 bloody coup in Ukraine, the Maidan Coup, that spilled into official Ukrainian apartheid against Russian-Ukrainians, civil war, Ukrainian genocide against Donbass Russians, and US/NATO aggression at the Russian border. Putin relentlessly called for diplomacy to end the genocide and US aggression. The US/West refused. To cut a long story short, the SMO was formed to end the genocide and US aggression, as the US/West would not engage in diplomacy. On the contrary, as Biden threatened that Russia would invade Ukraine, he was orchestrating a huge build-up of Ukrainian military at the Donbass next door to Russia.

@@normamimosa5991 What a patently ludicrous bit of Kremlin propaganda. By all means, don;t look at where bombs and missiles have fallen, which country's civilians have been killed and whiere Putin's troupes are fighting. Shame in you
