This is my very first time reacting to Exo Kai's solo work. I'm not very familiar with Exo, so in this video you see my genuine reaction to Kai's style and skills. I hope you're enjoying my Kpop dance reaction :)

Kai is an EXO member. EXO is from EXO Planet, are aliens and have super powers. Kai’s is Teleportation. Even in SuperM, they put Kai’s teleportation power in the MV Jopping. He takes it with him, everywhere he goes. Also, Kai’s vocal is always smooth and soft. And he has NO problem showing off his abs 😅.

This mv is related to *EXO "Obsession"* mv where *EXO* lost to their clones *X-EXO* , Kai is in the world of *"the Red force"* (EXO's eternal enemy) that's why he is locked up and watched by these small drones, he teleports himself to escape (or to find the other members) (Kai's superpower in EXO concept is teleportation) but no way, at the end we see the power of *D.O* (earth,force) and *Xieumin* (frost) (they are coming soon from the military) which arises, maybe they will save him in a future comeback, it's my own theory of this mv PS: *EXO* have a whole concept being aliens from *"EXO-planet"* , every member has his own superpower, they fought the *Red force* , every mv, teaser, vcr... gives us a hint of the story, plllz check them out, they are the most awarded Kpop band, kings of vocals Thx and sorry for my English

I love people watching Kai for the first time haha. He's so good so I'm looking forward to your reaction to his Film. He's good at all styles because he started with jazz and ballet when he was 7 and then moved more into hip hop when he was around 12 and joined SM. He started the contemporary dance wave in 2014 when he choreographed and performed a short piece called Deep Breath on tour and at the major awards shows that year. Until then kpop was very much about popping locking etc. When people watch exo choreos I see them say a lot that they're fluid compared to other groups they've seen and I really think it's because Kai is their main dancer and center and he pretty much set the style for the rest of the group. I don't even think intentionally, but just because he was a much more advanced dancer than the others and they all copied his style when learning. I think Ooh La La La is a good EXO dance practice to watch if you want to see more. You'll be able to pick him out right away, but in terms of style I think it kind of encapsulates them. Their Obsession music video is very cool too.

This is Kai's first mini album and the title track is Mmmh. So, since you were wondering....He trained ballet and jazz since his childhood. When he got into SM Entertainment, he learned hip hop and much more...so now his dance specialities are way more large. He has his own way of dancing and its just unbelievably beautiful. Feel like his first language is dance and the way he is teeling you stories through his dance is getting you shooked and speechless. If you dig more into EXO you'll understand what I mean. EXO concept and storyline shortly is that they are aliens from another planet and each member of them have a superpower. Kai power is teleportation and the last scene in the mv with the frozen rock is related to exo and the two signs on that rock is a sign of the two exo members who just finished their enlistment; it’s a way to say that they are back; he was teleporting between planets in the mv another thing the letter in that eye at one scene is to represent him and it means “open” just like how kai name means and also to say it’s the opening to his solo career

EXO were the first Kpop group to have a storyline. It's too detailed, and you must see every single musicvideo of them and their VCRs for you to understand a bit of what's going on if we explained it to you. Even his solo is part of the storyline just like everything from EXO. So don't focus on the MV and what's going on too much & enjoy the music :D I think the switch to a different shot in the dance practice was to resemble the MV, where he also teleported while dancing because his superpower is Teleportation, each EXO member has a superpower. But it's not the first time SM made a cut in EXO dance practices so maybe another reason? 😂 I don't know why they do that... Kai is considered as the best Dancer in Kpop just fyi! Kai is considered as one of the top dancers among the idols at SM Entertainment. He's also the main dancer for the idol group EXO. Given his rep among the trainees and fellow artists at SM Ent. , no wonder his choreo/MV is that good and sensual. Also he had best solo debut as well in 2020.

He does a lot of different types of dances. But he grew up mostly specializing in ballet, jazz and hip hop. Along the way to becoming an idol he sort of developed his own dance style, whenever I watch him dance it seems like to me he incorporated all his dance abilities into one type. He’s really amazing.

Kai’s is Teleportation) Fun fact: KAI was the one (the first) who popularized more contemporary and ballet influenced moves that every idols use now (and fashion style like croptop and others) Kai has been dancing jazz, ballet since 8 years old and has been dancing contemporary & other styles for long years... contemporary performances were none existent in kpop until Kai had a contemporary solo stage during the MAMAs in 2014, 2 years after his debut in exo (before kpop idols and companies focused in Pop and Lock and hip hop), The stage got so much buzz in the general public (because he already demonstrated it since his debut in exo presentations and concerts) that the companies started looking into getting their idols to perform more contemporary pieces. If you liked this you should look into exo as well! That’s Kai’s original group and once you looked into them you’ll understand more about EXO’s story and how every group mv, vcr, solos and even sub-units connect to their story. Their songs falls into a more rnb style but they venture into any genre. Their dances are also amazing, they even have dance for ballads or slow songs and a dance solo for a acoustic song hahahaha. Their best dancers are Kai, Lay and Sehun(all has solos but Lay especially has a LOT) but all 9 members of EXO are excellent dancers and even better singers and performers!

I think you need to react to his Reason dance practice. It's literally the best dance practice I've ever seen. Not much coming from someone who can't dance, but of all the practice videos I have seen, I can tell this dance is not easy, but they make it look effortless and they go so hard it just hypes me up and I constantly am going back to rewatch it.

In SM concept, the member of exo is come from exoplanet, each of them have different superpower. For KAI, it’s teleportation. And KAI is also means opening and beginning in Chinese, which written like ‘开’ that you can see the signature in the golden eyes in this mv and in ‘film:kai’. He is the origin in the exoplanet concept. (And highly recommend you to have a reaction of ‘film:kai’, if you haven’t seen that. Watching this will definitely be a pleasure in aesthetics.) EXO has 2 main dancers KAI and LAY.. and both of them have 2 different styles .. but both of them are bests on their own styles.. Exo was debuted with their own storyline... that they are from exo planet (which actually existed in real world). They came on earth for fighting with red force. And queen mother was guiding them. And from then red force and exo were shown fighting in each of their comebacks. In wolf mv, their powers were out of control. And exo-k drama they were shown saving their queen. And in overdose they were into the maze settled by redforce and in lotto mv they were fighting redforce gaurds and finally lost to them, in lucky one redforce were experimenting on exo. In monster exo fight back with redforce and finally escaped. In kokobop they were hangoverd by the drugs used in redforce labs before escaping. In loveshot & tempo exo were busy in their daily live on the other hand redforce started creating exo clones. Which were shown in mv as glitch. And hands behind the walls. In obsession exo & x-exo came infront of each other and fought. Where exo lost to x-exo. In kai's mhmmm kai was captured in redforce cage and somehow escaped from there. And now wandering everywhere hiding from redforce. And in the last part of mv that teaser shows do and xuimin will be his last opportunity. So kai will have to find them now.

He had been doing ballet and jazz since he was little! Kai and Taemin are truly the best dancers in the universe! I also like how Kai also said "destroy me" like Taemin!! And they are really close friends since their trainee days!

i think the reason why you're confused, was because a lot of scenes fron this mv talks about a world "KWANGYA". its like a recent concept from SMent (his company) and they were trying to potray a fiction story. if you watch: aespa - Black Mamba (u'll see the AI here) NCT2020 - Ether EXO - Obsession SuperM - Intro Video & Jopping BoA - Better Red Velvet - Zimzalabim maybe if you watch these, you can put the stories together and you'll quite understand.

Hi, awesome video with the gorgeous Kai, i accidently found him dancing in a video and caught my eye straight away. When he's with his band EXO, his super power is Teleportation, so he jumps to different places(planets etc...)
