Great reaction, and yes they incorporated African moves and they used custom suits made in Africa by an African designer in the video and live performances. This was a really fun dance it looks so hard! Best dance practice is hard but I’ll say On, that or Dionysus maybe? Black Swan?

Yeah becoz they're pro dancer. (It's easy to spot for them who among the group has the most of everything as dancer and that is jhope. Am not saying jimin and JK are not good

At 3:12 one of their little insider easter eggs, in the song they are talking about superheros. Each of them takes on the iconic pose of a superhero. From left to right: Jin (white shirt) is Hulk, Suga (black shorts) is Wolverine, Jimin (jeans) is Spiderman, JHope (white pants) is a Japanese hero called Anpanman (they have a song about him + it has choreo), V (red pants) is Ironman, RM (black jeans) is Captain America and Jungkook (khakis) is Thor. Yep Idol was made with a mixture of Korean and Afro beat sounds and the dance reflects that. They use some African type steps, the most notable and recognizable is the Gwara-Gwara. The group themselves have said Idol is one of their toughest dances ever. It takes a lot of energy to perform and BTS doesn't lip sync so they are singing as well as dancing this hard. I would recommend you watching their MMA 2018 performance to see how they notch up the levels and perform Idol live.

Wakanda Forever pose was clawless until Infinity War. He does do it but it wasn't an automatic reference when Wolvie had been doing that pose in comics for decades,

J-hope is the one you were referring to. He's the dance leader of BTS. Always kills it. But I REAAAAAAAALLY thought the guy in the bucket hat (Jungkook) absolutely killed this dance practice, too. I'll link as a comment to this what I think is the dopest dance practice from BTS. It's an old one and they're always phenomenal but this one is just...chefs kiss. Idol MV is mind blowing ... colorful. BLACK SWAN is my one of my favorites of theirs. It has a bit of modern dance along with the usual poppin' and all that. The live performance on James Corden show was the premier. The Dance Practice is good of course.

But they have "가요대제전 Intro performance Trailer" (where they actually move backwards) and "BTS concept trailer" that are also dope as hell.

Those jumps/spinning jumps and shoulder moves during the hook come from traditional Korean dance. This song is a mix of african dances and korean dances.

This song was inspired by South African house music called Gqom (especially at the beginning of the song it has a gqom beat) and the dance that they did at 2:50 is also a SA dance called gwara gwara. As a South African, this choreo makes me happy and it is one of my favourite BTS choreo.

Y'all are sharp. I love a dance lover reacting to dance. Please, react to BTS Best Dance Break Practice. I'll bet my first born you'll be hooked ten seconds in. Intro's and Concept trailers and practice clips of their most iconic choreo , not always to their own music (Limp Bizkit?), and maybe some surprises that are not fx.
